From Stomp to He'll Take The Pain Away, this album is GREAT!! U won't be disappointed, trust! Stomp is the CLASSIC tune and if u aint heard it yet....oh well! Then we go to the encouraging My Life Is In Your Hands. But my fave tunes are Love, Sweet Spirit, Up Above My Head, He'll Take The Pain Away and the original Stomp. But for real every tune is good, trust me!! I can't recommend it enough! From grimey grooves to worshipful slow jams, I can't get enough. Again this is for the young peeps!!

All I can say is that the music contained within this album has had a profund effect on me. An incredible collection of raw and uncompromising power and beauty. It is almost too much emotion to take in one sitting as track upon track builds to create a stunning collection. Volume 2 is excellent also,(purchased it the day after hearing this).The only other collection of comparable power is the Dave Godin Deep Soul series and praise does not come higher than that,

This is an amazing collection of hand picked performances which will have you raising your eyebrows as you recognise influences from 80 years ago on todays modern sounds. I could wax lyrical about the choice of artists and tracks but prefer to just say BUY IT!!!

There is a big HOWEVER, which I have to add and that is a dissappointment in the packaging and information. I can't fault the music so have had to give a 5 star rating but unfortunately, a person with 20/20 vision would have difficulty reading the track list and there is also a loose leaf track list of which the print is also minute.
