I remember Dury mainly from the late 70s/80s era as enjoyed his moment of chart stardom which coinciding with the rise of punk: What a Waste, Hit me with your Rhythm Stick... I kind of lost touch with him since then, and discovering this excellent collection was a treat. It's bulging with delights, all for the price of a new pair of panties. Dury is a brilliant wordsmith and the Blockheads provide a unique backing which is a hybrid of pub rock, funk and reggae. Unlike most punk bands, the Blockheads are expert musicians and Dury is as adept a writer as the likes of Noel Coward - though somewhat more potty-mouthed.

Like many of the reviewers I spent part of my childhood with my mum and step dad playing Crowded House every other hour. At the time I was far to obsessed with keeping my attempted image to want anything to do with what my mum liked. Now over ten years on I noticed this CD for cheap on Amazon and recalled some of the songs in my head which was just enough to tempt me into a purchase. I am glad I did.

I can honestly say that of all my music as an overall album this greatest hits has to be one of the best CD's I own. This is one of the few CD's where I can put it on and have the certainty that every song I hear will excel. Sade along with Anita baker, queen of adult contemporary, jazz & R&B delivers this beautiful, romantic album which is absolutely flawless from start to finish, providing the ultimate smooth grooves & chill out classics, all the songs are a joy to listen to time and time again.

This greatest hits collection by Stevie Wonder, was one i purchased in my local Woolworths in Kirkcaldy, a couple of years ago.

However, do be wary if you decide to buy this. Many songs by Stevie Wonder may be acknowledged: "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm yours"; "You're the sunshine of my life", "He's misstra know-it-all", but as far as i'm concerned, this collection is devoid of something. This includes: virtually no trace of his work on "Fulfillingless' First Finale, all of which are sadly absent; a lot of songs including the likes of: "I ain't gonna stand for it", "He hasn't done nothin'", "Superwoman", "All in life is fair" and "Love's in need in love today" are not here, but should be; probably the worst trasverty of them all are "Isn't she lovely" and "Living in ... Great DVD except for the missing Innuendo videos including the title track, Headlong etc. I decided to get this DVD after having Greatest Flix I & II on Video CD since 1994 only to find the aforementioned videos replaced with others. I'm sure there was room to put them on this otherwise great DVD, let's hope that there will be a Greatest Video Hits 3 including them along with the videos from Made In Heaven.

A Great album ,with a mix of live and studio tracks.
Personally I think the live tracks bring some great energy to the album and even though they are live they have good production.
