Away From The Sun GREAT ALBUM BOUGHT IT AFTER HEARING THE SONG HERE WITHOUT YOU AS A SMACKDOWN TRIBUTE TO THE LATE WWE HALL OF FAMER EDDIE GUERRERO
Release Date March 19, 2001
Man, this is a bad album. Unless you like reggae or ska of course, in which case it's fine. But if you're looking to buy this as a back catalogue of Gwen Stefani, then please don't, it really isn't very listenable.
Release Date November 14, 2005
Alanis Morrisette delivers a great 'Greatest hits' compilation here. Lyrically, Alanis is the mistress songs like 'you outta know' 'Ironic' 'that I would be good' are all proof of this. Musically she is most definitely a genius, her cover of 'Crazy' is wonderful.

Having followed Athlete from thier start, I perhaps have a more biast view on this album than thier second, thinking it far superior. If you liked Tourist, hopefully you will love this album. This album shows Athlete trying to find themselves, and the result is an album full of completely different songs, all of which are pulled of spectacularly. Sadly I found thier second album (Tourist), though much better produced, much less diverse, they took the 'sound' from the few songs that did well from Vehicles and Animals and repeated it over and over to make quite a dull album, compared to the frivolous and different sounds of the songs shown in Vehicles and Animals.
Hopefully Athletes 3rd album will move back to the more experimental music ... Read More:

A fantastic album for all those emo/scene kids out there! The catchy melodies and well-written lyrics combine with thrash guitar and screeching teen American voices to create the perfect emotional album. My favourite tracks are Adalia and Pandora. Perfect for fans of 30STM, Paramore and The Used. Big thumbs up!

Like other people have said i first heard 'wherever you will go' and then got the album because i loved the style of the song and the singer's voice.
As with many albums it took a few listens to get familiar with the songs but since then i have loved all the songs on this album.
I'd definitely recommend this album! just as good, if not better than Two.

This is a brilliant album. Truth be told I never properly listened to the album fully, was always mesmerised by the big tracks, being Rollin', My Generation, My Way, Boiler, Take A Look Around, and by the time I'd over-used them I was on to another album, a Blink 182 or The Offspring album. So I missed a full album of good songs, bar 2 songs, Livin' It Up and Hold On(plus the Intro and Outro, but they don't really count). This is the sort of music I miss, the sort of music that got me into Rock music(I think Rollin' was one of the first rock songs I heard on the radio before I delved into the "rock scene"). I left the "rock scene" as soon as bands like Bullet For My Valentine came about. I never even listened to a song of theirs, I just didn't like that ... Read More:

Eight years after Cobain's death, Kris Noveselic, David Grohl, and Courtney Love finally mange come to some sort of agreement and release NIRVANA, which is a greatest hits compilation. The biggest news about NIRVANA is its inclusion of "You Know You're Right," which is the last studio song Nirvana recorded. This is an excellent song, though why they open the record with it is beyond me. It should have been at the end, because the rest of NIRVANA is sequenced chronologically.
The problem with NIRVANA is, with only having three albums and a large number of b-sides to draw from, it still misses the boat. Courtney Love made it pretty obvious she wanted a hit album like The Beatles' ONE record. The Beatles had a very large number of hit singles. Recording for seven ... Read More:

Soundgarden's breakthrough album "Badmotorfinger" was released at the height of the Seattle Sound/grunge phenomenon and is amongst the finest albums produced during that era, however those expecting an easy radio friendly ride of a record along the lines of their contemporaries such as Nirvana's "Nevermind" and Pearl Jam's "Ten" will find this quite a different beast. It is one of the stranger albums to have ever garnered mainstream success, but whilst it starts off as something of an acquired taste, it is well worth persisting with as once you get it you'll love it.
Soundgarden's sound on this record is a soup of Sabbath-esque 70's metal, blues, classic rock with a splash of punkier energy and some experimental noise thrown in for good measure. It's the diversity ... Read More:

I first heard Daughtry on American Idol singing their single Home. After hearing this single i immediately wanted to hear some of the bands other material. And i wasn`t disappointed.
At this point, over a year after buying the album, i must have listened to this album more than any other i own. It isnt a very long album, but i can honestly say that i love every single song on the album, which rarely happens.
The lead singer Chris daughtry has a unique sounding voice and the songs have a lot of hooks in them, meaning the words and tunes stay in your head, so pretty soon you know the songs inside out.
The lyrics are great, especially on songs Over you, Used to, Home and All these lives.
Amazing album, one of the best i own and probably will ... Read More:
