A predictable bunch of same sounding tracks from the ever narrowing scope of music that features in this dying magazine.
Release Date August 25, 2008
Having gotten fairly familiar with the album, then leaving it for a while to make sure it wasn't post-release enthusiasm, I can now honestly say that I believe this is the band's best effort since their debut. While every Slipknot album has its faults, even that oh-so-precious classic first assault, those on All Hope... are less immediately obvious, and certainly nowhere near as off-putting as they were on the previous two records. And unlike the previous two records, you'll find more to praise than dismiss.
For a start, I tend to skip on past previous singles "Left Behind" and "Vermillion Pt. 1", and mercifully, there is no such track on here. Sure, "Dead Memories" and "Snuff" rank amongst the bands less sonically abrasive material, ... Read More:

Ok first of im a huge A7x fan, so im just being honest.
First thing that put me of about this dvd is the fact that they only played 12 songs. I mean, thats just not cool, twelve songs for a whole concert??!! I'd be seriously disapointed if i went to see a band and they played half of what most bands play.
So how good is the dvd performance-wise... Too good, that sounds stupid i know but let me explain;
When you go to see a band live you want to see some energy, something new, something different... With this dvd i only see a band trying to perfect a song.. Almost all of the songs on this dvd sound identical to the record version, and personally i dont think that is cool... Live things should be alot more different. ... Read More:

I wouldn't call myself a fan Of Disturbed but I have The Sickness and Ten Thousand Fists they are both amazing album (and both sound unique in its sound). This album however didn't top 'em. The album starts off really well with Indestructable, Inside The Fire & Deceiver but then goes down hill. All the songs seem to have really good heavy intros with great drumming but Dave's vocals though he is a great vocalist just sounds the same in nearly all the tracks, sometimes it sounds like he doesn't want to be there. The musicianship is awesome, in every song. This album just doesn't have enough variety in it, it soon becomes repetitive, some tracks are excellent and alot of that has to do with Dave's vocals.
This is a good album overall they could of ... Read More:

This album is stunning, I am a huge Enigma fan, have all the albums. This album features a long awaited return to the familiar Enigma sound of Cretu. The last album was hugely disappointing with the exeption of the track Hello and Welcome but Seven Stars just blows the mind. Every minute of the album is delicious. It brings tears to the eyes. Any Enigma fan recently disappointed by the previous album, don't hesitate to buy this you won't be disapointed. Thankyou Enigma

Black Sabbath's most famous album with some amazing songs which are War Pigs, Paranoid, Iron Man(I Am Iron Man) & Fairies Wear Boots (best song on the album?). The rest of the album sadly took awhile to grow on me but when they do you start to notic some cool tracks like Hand Of Doom & Electric Funeral. Overall a brilliant album some wicked songs on but their debut album is so much better. So i suggest buy that first if you dont ave any Sabbath albums buy their Self titled debut album Black Sabbath that's mindblowing. BLACK SABBATH ROCK!!!!!!!

Well its what happens when you say to your daughter that you are bored with your record collection. Here Dad try this she said putting Kid Rock into my hands. Well I am impressed. There are some great riffs on this album and a real mixture of rock/country styles. In some ways it is a mature sound and the country feel is not disimilar to a theme in Bon Jovi's, Lost Highway album. It kicks off with a real foot tapper in Rock and Roll Jesus, and Amen is thought provoking to say the least. I am not overly impressed with the sentiments and language in some tracks as noted in other reviews. But like a lot of British TV and music if you removed F**k and, oh my God, from the majority of shows they couldn't string many sentences together (try it with an episode of Friends). Anyway coming from ... Read More:

I think with this truly amazing album MetallicA can now be forgiven for St. Anger every song on this album is truly amazing and it truly is a 5 star album and the fact that it's a heavy metal album and it stayed top of the charts in the UK for 2 weeks straight says something!!!
Release Date July 02, 2007
In my opinion And Justice For All is the album where Metallica shifted direction into what can best be described as hard progressive rock. If you want to enjoy the best of the band buy the first three albums, after that the song writing and music gets a little tedious and long-gone are the great riffs and tight songs of the earlier material. It's not that bad an effort, but really only an essential purchase for hardcore fans.

An AC/DC soundalike, similar hooks and riffs with familiar and comfy chord changes but so what. After having to endure crap like Kasabian, Ferdinand Franz and Biffy Clyro being punted by music stations as rock this is a very refreshing change and whisked me back to the halcyon days of 78-81. All the previous reviews have already went into enough detail on the music. Suffice to say-buy, play and enjoy.
