A very good mix of Scorpions' songs with guest star Uli Jon Roth. I'm pleased "Rock You Like a Hurricane" is included - one of my particular favourites.

This album is flawless, Led Zeppelin jamming though their greatest hits live. The most striking thing is the sound quality, it's clear and crisp and absolutely punchy! Led don't stop on this album, at all, each song sounds slightly improvised and jammed. The rock highlights, like Immigrant Song, kick you right in the ears and the slower numbers, like Thats The Way, pull at your heart, they're very emotional and heartfelt.
All in all, this album is like having a private Led Zeppelin concert in your room, and common, who wouldnt want that?

This album's a real mystery to me, but the quesion is more "Why?" than "Who?" Viz, why is this album reckoned to be the weakest DP Mk2 album? I've heard it described as a tired album, but that's belied by actually listening to the thing.
Woman from Tokyo is the real classic, as good as Smoke on the Water, and as memorable. A song to play again and again, and always find new points of interest. Piano solo that would impress Dave Brubeck. Blackmore keeps it nice and heavy, but doesn't dominate. The spine-tingling middle section would've sounded ham-fisted in other hands. Oh, and Gillan's vocal, into which he puts everything, and a bit more besides. Paice's drums are crisp and inventive, and even Glover gets busy when he needs to (even he ... Read More:

Not one of Megadeth's best albums, neither is it all that bad, in fact it's pretty good. The album is best described as frantic and chaotic, perhaps a little cynical and a tad juvenile in tone compared to other Megadeth albums.
This album shines in songs such as "In My Darkest Hour", which was inspired by the death of Cliff Burton (Metallica), it is a dynamic song with plenty of tempo and mood changes.
Another good track is "Mary Jane", written about a girl of the same name who suffered from a mental illness and was burned at the stake during the infamous Salem witch trials.
The album also features a good cover of Sex Pistols' song "Anarchy In The UK", albeit with some incorrect lyrics but despite this, for me as a metalhead, it's ... Read More:

Stunning music, full of originality...takes unexpected twists and turns, in equal measure slow and fast, light and heavy...yet always coherent. Add top quality sound production and this album is a stonewall classic.

Whilst this is a "must have" album and a classic, DON'T BE DECEIVED there are no bonus tracks here, it's the remastered versions

I was always put off by the NME but I needed a good present for my Dad.
Really impressed, good tunes with a Queen/Rock feel to them, reminded me of School Discos. Very cheap and you almost get both albums plus Christmas single.
Wonder what Justin Hawkins will come up next with his new band?
