Can i just say from the product description that In Flames have nothing to do with At The Gates at all in the slightest.
I've been a mega In Flames fan since Colony was first released and have their earlier stuff too, before Jester Race there was Lunar Strain and Subterranean where the vocalist was of course Mikael Stanne who is now fronting Dark Tranquiltiy, who of course use to have Anders doing vocals for them, but that was back in their early 'death metal' days where they sounded way differen to where they are now.
So to their latest release,A Sense Of Purpose. How could you try and follow Come Clarity? well obviously they couldn't. The first 2 songs start off great 'The Mirrors Truth' and 'Disconnected' heavy and melodic ... Read More:

If you haven't heard Tool yet, you must, this is one of the most perfect albums in rock history, every member has extreme talent and yet it's so modestly used. A beautifully sculpted album from beginning to end.

Every Uriah Heep fan will tell you that this is the groups best at the time of release album. everything slotted together perfectly. a stable line up, great writing plenty of rehearsal before recording and a sense of well being.. the remaster has a fantastic selection of out-takes that other top groups would have begged stole bought rather than gathering dust in some vault..

Mick Mars voicechanger kicks off the album, promising devilish Rock and Roll, and it doesnt disappoint! Shout At The Devil is a rousing, kick ass track that pounds away at your head till your singing along throwing sixes in the air! Looks That Kill follows in the non-stop bangin' and thrashin', the song about all your ex's that you ever had.
Bastard is a hate filled rant against an old and beaten adversary, Helter Skelter the Beatles tune made evil by an injection of pure Motley. Red Hot is just that, molten music poured into vinyl. Too Young To Fall In Love was a live favourite, catchy chorus and a cool video to promote it.
Knock 'Em Dead Kid is brilliant, a middle finger to all that try and put you down. 10 Seconds To Love is the sex track, ... Read More:

No matter how much I listen to this album, I can't figure out what is wrong with it.
You see, in principle, there is nothing wrong. Same guys that made the fantastic Backstreet Symphony get together and follow the same recipe. Is that what went wrong?
The vocals are good, the guitar style is similar, but somehow Laughing on Judgement day doesn't rock like Backstreet did. For starters is the lenght of the record. As a matter of personal taste, 14 songs are too many for me on a record of this style.
Then is the lack of clear scorchers like Backstreet had in Distant Thunder or Dirty Love.
Laughing on Judgement days almost sounds like a Thunder By Numbers kind of record. It is not bad, but it does not stick with you either.

Okay, first of all Metallica are amazing, so it would be difficult for me to rate anything other than 5 stars - this boxset is great. It's got enough in it to make the price well worth it.
Although I don't like the T-shirt much (as I can't work out whether or not the front image is supposed to be a little skewed), the box set is cool.
The only minor thing I will say against it, is the Image that appears on the front of the coffin, is in fact on the plastic shrink wrap around the cardboard coffin, so once you take of the shrink wrap, off comes the logo. If you are careful, I suppose you could try and unpick it and stick it on to the box, but all the same its a little bit of a let down.
Still 5 as the 2 CDs, DVD and download of the O2 gig are worth the money ... Read More:

'Rocks' brings to fruition the style that Aerosmith developed on their first three albums. Its predecessor, 'Toys In The Attic,' is a masterpiece, despite a rather soapy closing track, but 'Rocks' is more consistent in style. It doesn't necessarily contain better songs, but it possesses a dirty, funky undercurrent. The titles do more than hint at the subject matter: 'Back In The Saddle' and 'Get The Lead Out' aren't about horses and dogs.
Unusually, for a great hard rock album, Joe Perry doesn't load the airtime with extravagant riffs. The trick is in the band being what is essentialy one big, sexual rhythm section. Steve Tyler rasps his way into the opening track as if to signify this. There is no 'Walk This Way' on 'Rocks,' but Aerosmith seem to have developed its emphasis on rhythm.

Well i just can't believe it, they have done it again, Brave new world rocks like a 9.9 on the richter scale....My god, the title track is pure gold and then blood brothers goes beyond....The album is just perfect in ever detail. It rocks like no other and i am an avid fan. A matter of life and death was awesome but i just can't describe this, it is un-describable. Just buy, sit back and rock away....you will not be dissapointed....Long live the Maiden

This really is the best of Black Sabbath. If you have not heard of them or are just trying them out because you know they are classed as legends then you cannot go wrong with this compilation.
If you are a Sabbath fan but maybe you have all their recordings on vinyl then go for the box set 1970-1978 instead.
If you are trying out Sabbath because of Ozzy Osbourne and recent found glory then be aware that this material is harding hitting than his solo material, with more guitar rifts and darker lyrics, but it is brilliant.
