If anything can be said for Lupe, it's that he's a breath of fresh air for the hip-hop world.
I loved this album from beginning to end, there wasn't a single song I didn't like. He's different, he has morals and he's interesting.
This was one of the few albums I was seriously anticipating and then when it was released I wasn't disapointed in the slightest.

Black Sunday made Cypress Hill's connection to rock & roll more explicit, with its heavy metal-like artwork and noisier, more dissonant samples (including, naturally, stoner icons Black Sabbath). It's a slightly darker affair than its groundbreaking predecessor, with the threats of violence more urgent and the pot obsession played to the hilt (after all, it was a crucial part of their widespread appeal). Apart from those subtle distinctions, the sound of Black Sunday is pretty much the same as Cypress Hill, refining the group's innovations into an accessible bid for crossover success. In fact, it's a little startling how often Black Sunday recycles musical ideas and even lyrical catch phrases from the endlessly inventive debut. And the rock ... Read More:

You may have seen Boyz II Men in the spotlight recently, as they released their own cover versions of Motown classics, which is fantastic for any fan. The Legacy is all about Boyz II Men's journey from early hip hop, or contemporary soul to power ballads, and all are included on this wonderfull collection. All their well known hits are included, from their first to 'recent' ones, made when the album was first produced in the year 2000. An absolute masterpiece.

if you though that jay z just made popcorn rap, and never really thought he was worth your time, or just thought he was an overrated commercialized rapper, listen to it, because it proves how talented he actually is, this album is a classic in every sense of the word, it has something most rap albums nowadays lack, subject matter, lyrics, beats, meaning and originality, this album is basically chronicling the ups and downs, regrets and joys of being a hustler, the beats to start off with are great, this album was mostly produced by dj premiere, and he did a fantastic job, the production is clean, crisp, and fit jay zs flow and lyrics, my next point, the lyrics, the lyrics are some of the best rap lyrics ever, jay z has a great mutli-syllable rhyming scheme, it ... I love this album, and what a bargain it is! I think the most refreshing thing about it is that it carefully balances the ideas of early rap and 90's hip-hop - those being the smooth and 'meaningful' lyrics he's produced, and the clean break-beat production. This is something that has been lost in today's market, for now a 'rapper' rambles on about guns, girls, and how his dog died. Hip-hop hardly exsists of course, mainly being replaced by r'n'b in bars etc.
The album starts brilliantly with the great lyrics to G'irls Ain't Nothing But Trouble', which sets a tone for much of the album. Stand out tracks include the full version of the song from the program he starred in; The Fresh Prince of Bell Air, and one of my favourites for the summer which is Miami; the rhythm ... Read More:

Wu tang are one of my biggest influences in my own rap songs, and this album is killer. Bring Da Ruckus is a hard opener and the whole album is hard as it gets! CREAM is amazing. Wu Tangs standout lyricists are obviously ODB and Ghostface, who both sound amazing on every and any track they are in.
This has to go down as one of the best hip hop albums in history, and the beats are pretty amazing to.
a must have for any rap fan

Royksopp is a wonderful find, and in particular Melody A.M. The group have, and with great success, produced a collection of tracks with great continuity and, I must add, respect for their listener's ears. It is truly a delight to put on this record. Although the tracks can be soothing, and ideal for chill out, I thought a few allowed you to do anything but chill out. Poor Leno in particular is sexy, and creeps up on you when you're least expecting it.
Brilliant.
