Well they're not wrong!! The whole album from these guys is a sham!!
Usless college puhnk made for whiney teenagers with big hair, too much make up and small pumps. And that's just the male fans!!
Sounds exactly the same as their previous album (boring) and is not an evolution of the band at all. Partly I assume because the actor needs to pursue his art (ahem!) but also because they rely on cover versions such as Bjork's "Hunter"

I thoroughly enjoyed Snow Patrol's latest album "Eye's Open" ,but I didn't enjoy the band's 2004 album "Final Straw" quite so much.It wasn't quite up to the high standards of "Eyes Open". That said it is still one of the better albums that I have heard recently featuring excellent songs such as "How To Be Dead", "Spitting Games", "Chocolate" and "Run". A few other tracks on "Final Straw" are good as well but I found the final four or five songs (bonus tracks included) to be a bit of a let down;they all seemed to blur into one.

This is the first time I have bought a REM Cd and so far, the tracks I have heard are great. Every song on this album is great.

The criticisms above may have valid points about missing rarities but I have some good things to say about these re-issues.
1. I liked the 80s 12" re-mixes as much as the LP versions. The last time there was a comprehensive collection of the New Order 12" singles and their b sides was the Substance double cassette. The 2CD version failed miserably to include many good tracks (due to space). This omission has never been adequately addressed. Although I would like all the tracks from that cassette re-mastered in a 4 CD set these re-issues do make many of them available which is good.
2. I am listening to this Low-life CD package now. I have never heard these tracks sound so good (and I do have many of the 12" singles). I often ... Read More:

I have listend to this album and thought it is a good listen through. the 1st time i listend i was not that sure. 2nd time i listened it was brill. you can tell they put effort into each track. their is a great track on the album called 'heat dies down' which i think is the best track on the album. if you like rock and indie rock buy this... its a gooden.

this is a cd i believe everyone should have. the songs are consistently good throughtout the whole cd. from songs like 'goodbye mr A', 'cops and robbers' and 'worried about ray' to the less celibrated songs like 'the trick to life', the worst case senario' and 'every thing goes dark'. Plus for under £5 an absolute bargain.

There are a lot of reviews on this album, time and time again Nevermind seems to stretch its fuzzy head and look over, all I can say is ,to me Nevermind has some good tracks and Ten has some brilliant. its impossible to even compare them with each other, a bit like saying Grand Funk Railroad ( early years ) were like the Mahavishnu orchestra. total difference Pearl Jam are a clever group of musicians who write play and express themselves perfectly, the Nevermind crew had a few catchy riffs.

Pure pop perfection from the best thing to come out of Manchester since Georgie Best.
Oasis are the greatest rock band ever - a combination of The Stone Roses and The Buzz Kids.
Every song is a classic and equal to If Looks Could Kill, Ziggy Stardust, Suburban Rebels, Nothing Compares 2 U, Love Will Tear Us Apart...
Oasis are THe Beatles and much much more!!!

When Brotherhood first came out I have to admit I felt a sense of disappointment at what I heard on this their fourth Factory album. Whereas the other three releases - including the flawed debut Movement showed a sense of bravery, exploration and experimentation - this release showed an element of retreat and failure to continue exploring new ground and sounds.
All these years on nothing has really changed my view of Brotherhood. This is as near to a conventional rock album with dance overtones as NO would do in the 1980s. There are great moments here, and the remixes of the singles from the album took them further into their dance journey, but their are awful moments on this. Every Little Counts, made me titter the first time I heard it, but Barney's doggrel should have been ... Read More:
