This is one of the best piping cd's I have ever bought. There are the bagpipes and drums, and nothing else. The music is superb, with all the company marches and daily tunes being played as military music should. It's crisp, clear, and the balance between the pipe music and the drumming is just right. A lot of pipe cd's either hide the drums in the background, or they drown out the pipes. This album is superbly mixed, and whether you are a piper or drummer, you will surely agree that this album has everything. What a superb ending to a historic regiment. Well done the Black Watch!
