As with any big event these days, the commerciality surrounding it sky rockets. With this the topic, The Annual Millennium Edition springs to mind quickly. The year 2000 was seen as the biggest since sliced bread, and everyone was raving about this 'event' which would simply pass in a matter of seconds (1 second to be exact...). It was a crazy time, but i'll admit, I loved it, and the dance music from 1999 was simply brilliant. The reason why this album springs to mind is because after all the hype and craziness, the outcome was pretty average, maybe slightly dissapointing from MoS. Their are many reasons for this, but problem lies heavily on just couple of things.

Great idea, executed very well.
Whether it be the the more commercial sounding house of Seamus Haji, the heads down dancefloor inspired sound of Dave Spoon, or the eclectic sounds of Chris Coco, this has many highlights.
One of the best additions to the Sessions series so far.

Some of the very best tracks from some of the best artists all concentrated in to one compilation of non stop music.
I liked all 3cd's but may be the cd's 1 and 2 slightly more than the 3rd, but then again I think I am being too critical. You would want to keep listening to them over and over again.
Judge Jules has done a brilliant job at mixing this in a excellent order. The music from different artists play on seamlessly. If you like this kind of music you will not be disappointed. Just brilliant.

Helter Skelter Presents Hardcore 2007: the New Generation

This album is different to say the least, but not in a bad way, for one, its called the new generation for a reason, this is the way hardcore could be evolving into, if your not comfortable then you should stop listening, its not the typical, melodic style hardcore usually is (asides from CD 3 which is traditional hardcore)its fast, and sounds somewhere in the middle of drum and bass, and garage, but it works, which is the key element to it, if your looking for a break from melodic freeform hardcore, give this a try you might like it

Bought album about 3years ago it really is outstanding mix on both disc.Some top trance and house tunes around.It just bring days of the euphoric euro trance on disc1.Top tunes like WILL I,PPK,Drifting away,Beatiful and Light a rainbow every tracks good.Then disc2 doesnt fail to impress to with Runnin,Gotta get thru this,Belivers,Black water and JADED MEMORY and SAVE ARE SOUL ongoing decent tunes. Please Mos you need to bring out more stuff like this and stop the cheeasy remakes get it now.

Ministry have done themselves proud with this album!
They have done a great job at picking those great disco classics, the famous ones the not so famous. Ever since i've got this cd i dont think i've had it turned off!! Great to boogie to and to get you in the mood before a big night out!
Includes classics by Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Chic, Barry White, Dan Hartman, Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge and Evelyn 'Champange' King to name but a few.
Def' a good buy.

"Remember where you lost it?".. the special tag line to this album that you never forget. I've never heard an ibiza album to date that has the quality of mixing, choice of songs, and overall feel as the The Ibiza Annual vol.3.
After a year the trance was at its best, MOS didnt make full use of the music available with volume 2, but volume 3 blew me away. The quality of songs is simply fantastic from start to finish - It Feels so good is a great way to start off the album, a classic breakbeat song, and after half a cd of fab house music, trance makes it way through and rounds off each cd perfectly.
The fact that this album actually does sound like a typical ibiza night is what makes it so good, it was made for the summer. An after listening ... Read More:

I have just returned home with this cd and I have to say I love it already. I'm not going to pretend I'm some sort of guro and comment on the mixing skills of the dj but having been into house music for well over 15 years I know what I like. I also have the Steve Angello Sessions and this makes a superb compliment to that, probably because they are both members of the so called Swedish Mafia which are so hot at the moment. It definately has the 'now' faxctor and nicely follows Axwell's Essential Mix of earlier this month.

as the entire dance music world latches onto to the electro-house phenomenon, so does uber-brand Ministry of Sound. In this case, it's two exiles from tribal house pushing the sound of their now-discontinued Nastydirtysexmusic club night - literally, since it was recorded live, one take and no tidying. Disc 1, after a raucous, thoroughly dumb but enjoyable hip-house screamer from Sharam Jey, locks into a jacking minimal-ish groove which stays in place for most of the disc.
