The Ibiza Annual Vol.2: Mixed By Judge Jules & Tall PaulCD-Charts > Music > Ministry of Sound by: Judge Jules Release Date August 16, 1999 This is a tough one, I can put this album on and love it or I can put this album on and get bored and change it for club mix 99 or Euphoria 3. Its got some good tunes on it but it has some poor ones aswell. It was compeating with Ibiza Euphoria which won hands down. Its a good album in its own right its got some tunes you will struggle to find anywhere else. A good addition to the collection of hard core late 90's house and trance fans only though. Lagacy is probebly the best tune here and this can be faund on countless 1999 dance albums. If you love late 90's stuff you will get on well with this album but if you only like 90's stuff you will enjoy this like you would the plague! |

Absolouetly love it at the moment never been out of me cd player for 2 weeks. The basslines are the hardest i have ever heard but not to fast..nice and clear...mixing is spot on everything i would expect from fergie.basically if u like house on the harder side, buy it u will not be dissapointed |

Back to the Old Skool - IbizaCD-Charts > Music > Ministry of Sound by: Various Artists Release Date May 06, 2002 After buying a number of other ministry of sound CDs i was expecting yet another great compilation album and i got it! It's a really great CD which has all the best tunes from back in the day. Theres a large selection of tunes, some pumping, some chill out, giving a good all round selection. I would give it 5 stars however i still prefer trance to this CD. Definately the finest CD in the ministry's old skool collection and worth getting. |

A mix of house, trance, and seriously big beats makes this a great listen during the heat of summer. It sounds very frsh - especially CD2, with songs like 'Song to the siren' and of course 'Its My Turn' by Angelic. Some reviewers claim CD is a bit of a mash - I have to disagree. Its very up-beat, and some fantastic house tunes that would get any one up to dance. While The Ibiza Annual 2000 was slightly more commercial, though still has stand tracks and great mixing, this is brighter and perfect to listen to when the suns cracking the flags! |

This came out in the days when US DJs ruled our DJ booths, charged £40,000 for a 2 hour set, demanded business class flights and in the case of our Mr Todd Terry, even asked for the Hard Times DJ booth to be rebuilt in a location more suitable for his tastes. He did take the mick a bit back in those days, I've heard MANY a TT remix which has literally ripped the backing from another remix he's done and stuck a new vocal over the top of it. So why did we buy into all this? For all the micky taking, Todd The God would respond with lethal tracks such as the Fingertrips EP, Bounce To The Beat, Jumpin and Something Going On.
