4th rate singers & 3rd rate mixes of 2nd rate songs from the 80s - I ws so disappointed by this CD that I chucked it in the nearest bin.

I am still listening to Clubbers Guides from the late 90s - so what has gone wrong here?

Buy it if your ambition is to be in the Top of the Pops audience - but not if you're an even semi-serious clubber

i dont know why other people haven't given this a blastin review this album is great, alright its not quite true all the bands are from manchester (moby) and the only reason you'd have to not like it is if you dont like that type of music, in which case, why did you buy it? its a class album with its fair share of wicked songs, theres one or two duff ones but there always is on a compilation cd.

Even though a some of the songs bored me, I admired the way the creators set this compilation out. The more catchier, well known songs are at the beginning of each cd, and the lesser known ones are at the end. Even though I found this album a bit tedious at times, it is a nice one to have anyway, as it has some really cool songs that I had never heard before. I wouldn't reccomend this album to somebody who had never really listened to this genre before, as it doesn't really have a huge range of songs on here. However, I gave this 4 stars as the songs which I enjoyed are ones which you can listen to again and again

In my opinion Dance Nation Part 2 is the best in the series because it puts a smile on my face everytime I hear it. They dont make them like this anymore. There are some rare remixes of tracks such as JX theres nothing I wont do (Carl Cox remix)and Todd Terry Keep on Jumping (Rhythem Masters Remix)
Mankey Believe in Me and Gusto Discos Revenge plus many more.
I couldnt recommend this album enough go buy.

Quite an average album, despite pleased reviews. The majority is commercial, while the rest makes up space. Of course, MoS had to include the pointless alligator tune - its on every album from this year for some reason...
Cd1 has house, with Point of view being my fave tune and a nice way to start the album. There are some good songs here, but the mixing is average, done by some unknown asian fella (see inside cover).
Cd2 is a bit better - alot more character and smoother tunes, but let down by cramming in too many songs that just arent good enough - a problem with ministry these days. Will I is probably the best tune here, and the instrumental version of Temple of dreams is quite good. Overall though, its got a smooth and real fresh, spring ... Read More:
