Yet another installment in MoS' quite frankly offensive series of 'The Annual'. To be brutally honest I don't know where to begin the slating. 61 of the most vapid "now!" kiddie-bop-along-heard-it-all-before tracks you could ever come across. If you own a radio or have ever had the joy of listening to one you will have heard about 97% of the songs on this album. As a snapshot of 2004 it is lacklustre. As a bona-fied MoS compilation it is simply dire. They havent learned from the same mistakes they have been making since 2002. Yawn.

Not in the same quality as the album 'Rush Hour', released about 2/3 years ago. Yes, most of those tracks we've heard about a million times are here (ie sandstorm) and since their are no tracks which are particularly hard to find elsewhere, you might as well dig out your old cd's and just put together your own complimation! And if your really tempted, buy 'Mixcraft' for under a tenner, and mix the mp3's yourself in minutes!
There you go, another way to save handing over fifteen quid to Ministry, for the second time this month! (trance nation 'classics')

I first heard it as mp3 I downloaded off the web and liked it so much went out and ordered it here on amazon and I am awaiting my copy. I consider myself a trance fan who doesn't like hard stuff. But I still want something with a nice beat to it. This trance is perfect. I would also recommend Ibiza Euphoria by matt darey, also his 'pure' euphoria vol4. I am also impressed with Gatecrasher black, red, and wet. I am also trying to buy those for a reasonable price though. I also like trance nation 4 by ferry corsten. I ordered the other trance nations done by him so I will see how they stack up to four but based from reviews they should be just as good. Now the euphoria line has many offerings. Hed Kandi Disco Heaven

Really impressed by Disco Heaven 2007. A definite return to pre-2005 kandi form. Strong vocals and uplifting beats define this album as the best installment in the DH series. Highly recommended if you like your disco to put a smile on your face and get you dancing.

The Ibiza Annual - Summer 2001

After such an amazing Ibiza Annual in 2000, I was looking forward to this one. I think it has its up and dwons though - mostly track selection.
This was of course, the end of Judge Jules, Tall Paul, and all the other legends who mixed annuals to this date. Instead, computer mixing took over, and the albums just lost their charcater and style. Luckily, this annual doesnt suffer tooo badly.. but its not amazing either
Cd1 takes the house approach - of course, a new angle to the annuals from now on, as a computer cannot mix house and trance songs together - the songs just wouldnt match correctly according to it. 1997? Could be 2001! Its only Ultra Nate's "Free" which shows the age of this mix, which is no great shame as it is still a great tune anyway. All the better for not hearing it for so long. Its no surprise that Todd Terry is known as "Todd the God", his mix is faultless, but lets get away from the nerdy technical side. Its the music that makes the DJ, not ability. And this collection is excellent. This stands out because it hasn't dated or aged. It could be a new collection out this week. This is a great CD which lends itself to listening to again and again. Yet equally at home turned up loud, while getting ready for the weekend. This is smooth, US house. Wicked vocals, funky dubs and bouncy beats. Buy it. Highly recommended.

i have had this cd for ages now and i never ever get bored of it if any one can rate it a 1 star then they must be pathetic! its one of the best dance hardcore cds that i have got. dance music has always been my favourite style but this cd is just fantastic. i bought it when it came out n i still listen to it now

This CD ROCKS Worth The money indeed. Ive never been in to DJS Remixes and all but this is awsome nothing i expected theres 2 discs only listend to CD 1 and i love it will be listening to CD 2 soon lets hope its BRILL too.

So if you are in to DJS, Remixes and all buy this CD you will love it and never regret getting it. BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
