This was the first time I had heard the Libera group as I was sent the CD as a gift. To begin with I really didn't care for some of the music - remember I hadn't heard this style of choral singing before and it took a bit of getting used to, but I sat down on Saturday and listened right through and by the time it was finished I was hooked. I loved the setting of Bach's Air on a G String in particular, and then right at the end the performances of Blake's Little Lamb and the In Paradisum are exquisite. This is a very fine choir matching in quality the Westminster Cathedral choristers, and I really can't recommend the disk too highly.

This was the album that put Enya on the map musically and it's easy to see why.Haunting vocals,mystical music and an artist of rare talent.

With many fantastic songs including 'Orinoco Flow','Storms In Africa' and 'Evening Falls',this is an album you can switch on,chill out to and just lose yourself.It has stood the test of time too and sounds as refreshing today as when it was originally released.

'Watermark' is a fine album,indeed it is a classic of it's type.Enya may not be to everyone's taste but she is a refreshing alternative to so much of the manufactured pop around today and deserves the worldwide success she has achieved.

101 Childrens Songs and Nursery Rhymes

I bought this because I didn't remember any nursery rhymes and wanted to sing them with my daughter. It arrived in a double CD case and I thought 'oh good'. Only to find it's one CD of half finished songs. 10 green bottles finishes at 6, Nelly the elephant has no second verse, I could go on. Save your money on this one.

Amarantine: Special Christmas Edition

I admit it, I am a massive fan of Enya, from the moment I heard Orinoco Flow. I have all her albums, singles and compilations. In my book, she was the start of New Age music. So, I admit to being biased! Her albums take a while to make and the wait is difficult to take. However, when she releases an album, she delivers a 4 or 5 star album.

I agree with the sentiments from Paul of the Netherworld, my fellow reviewer from Brighton who, in his review of the CD single of Amarantine, spoke about other music which exists and tends to dominate the charts.

In the desert, there is always an oasis, and in today's predominantly arid music scene, here is that oasis - another lovely Enya album. The title track is quite similar to "Only ... Read More:

This was the first programme that launched Chris Morris straight into the living rooms of the middle classes and took us all on a journey that has so far seen him make the successful transfer of this show onto TV-The Day Today, over to Channel 4 with Brass Eye then back to radio with Blue Jam and back to TV with the spin off Jam.

This may only be a fraction of what was broadcast but it'll blow you away with it's originality and anarchic humour.

William Burroughs son and heir I'm sure.

Warm Up With the Sticky Kids

Although the voices are a bit annoying and as an adult I can hear little merit in this stuff, my kids absolutely love the Sticky Kids and can't get enough of them. If you need sophisticated drum breaks and top quality sound perhaps something from the adult selection is for you. If you want your pre-schoolers entertained, this is fantastic. Whoever makes this stuff has a good handle on what the little ones like. Let your children decide if it's any good or not.
