This album sums up the 20th century in one neat little package. Peter and his chums have given us some treats over the years and this is the collection. Every track is a modern masterpiece of music industry as a whole. This hasn't left my CD player yet, and it will stay in there until the day I die! Long Live Lord Punk

I've listened to all the Vandals albums many times, and this is the album that stands above the rest. It's a bit more raw punk rock than some of their later albums (Hitler Bad.., Look What I Almost Stepped In etc), but it is a solid, well made punk album.
Every song has that catchy, Vandals humor mixed with some great punk guitar, and it seems to sound far crisper, and better made than some of their earlier albums.
If you're into your punk rock, then this is definately an album worth picking up. I'd definately rank it up along with Ignition by the Offspring and Pump Up The Valuum by NoFX.

Probably not as fast as these guys can bash them out! This album is up there with Destruction By Definition as one of their best albums, if you liked the 1st one then you have to buy this! There are over 20 tracks on this album, most less than 2 minutes long, with all types of punk thrown in, but mostly punk/ska and harcore.
Highlights include 'Black & White World' and 'Face Another Day', not forgetting the classic 'Punck', weighing in at 4 seconds long.
If you like you music hard and fast, but like a good ol' skank as well, then this is the record for you!

Sick Of It All ARE hardcore, they are the sound that every vest wearing tattooed New York-a-be wants to be, period. One of the other reviews mentions that this 'is probably the least accomplised' S.O.I.A album, well, it pre-dates 'Call To Arms' and 'Yours Truly' by the best part of a decade and was the album that re-ignited the N.Y.H.C. sound to it's very best. The title track, 'No Cure' & 'Maladjusted' are bonafide classics, and that's before I even mention 'Step Down'. Yeah, buy 'Call To Arms' (another 5* outing) and 'Yours Truly' (a solid 4*), in fact buy the whole S.O.I.A back catalogue, but this is the album that defined a band and a genre.

While not as good as their previous record "Emergency & I" this is still one of the greatest records ever to come out of the American underground. Substituting their former eclecticness for a more cohesive, considered sound puts more importance on Travis' photographic lyrics. Pitchfork said it best when they challenged anybody in their twenties not to feel every word he sings/speaks on this record.
I would say buy Emergency & I before this record though. While the are both great records I would consider their previous work to be the best American indie record ever... Though if you have the money you should buy both. In fact even if you don't have the money you should buy both...

Amazingly, this is the worst selling Millencolin album on Amazon. I have been a Millencolin fan for 5 years now and have to say that this is my favourite album of all time. This may be a strong statement to make, but you have to buy this album to believe it. It is amazingly original with a mixture of sounds and not a bad song on the album. I would recommend this album to anyone who has even slightly enjoyed a punkrock song in the past. I have owned this album for 4 years and even now sounds just as amazing as when I first bought it. You can play it again and again and it will touch you in just the same way each time. Anyone who isn't prepared to pay the small amount that Amazon is charging for this album needs their head examining

Like The Dead Kennedys and Big Black, Alice Donut sing about all that is wrong with America with a wicked sense of humour, no more is this illustrated on this album than on "Sleep", the story of a surreal dream that leads to the narrator bedwetting, and "Come up with your hands out", the true tale of a mad woman who goes on a shooting spree. It's Tom Anona's vocal delivery and choice of subject that make Alice Donut rise above most other so-called alternative rock bands. Best songs are "My Best Friend's Wife" and "Dead River" due to their catchy choruses; that's if you like to sing along to "bodies, bodies, crippled bodies, bodies, bodies, butchered bodies". There's even a cover version of Sabbath's ... Read More:
