This is a genuinely good album. It flows along easily and is a perfectaccompaniment to the edgier material The Get Up Kids previously released.The problem that most of the fans have with it is that it isn't the sameas 'Something To Write Home About', which is arguably, the band's greatestalbum. However, it is brilliant as a stand-alone album. 'Overdue' standsout as a beautiful searching track to open the album with. Otherhighlights include 'Walking On A Wire', 'Fall From Grace', and 'Let TheReigns Go Loose'.
Don't expect it to be like the other Get Up Kids CDs, because it isdifferent. But not in a bad way. Not at all.

Apparently Russ, singer for GR had to get some feelings out so they released the hardcore, hard-hitting political 'Operation Phoenix'.

Now GR go back to playing some more poppy stuff which in my opinion they do best. This is a great EP, looking forward to the new full-length.

omg!! this is by far the best cd that blink 182 has! i have their other cds but i have never like them as much as i liked this cd! anyone who says that this cd is "not blink 182"... you better think again because i believe that this cd has a real value to it! i love the mixture of slow and fast songs on the cd. i strongly recommend that you buy this cd... if you dont you're missing out on a whole lot of fun and a whole bunch of great songs!!!! if there was such a thing this cd would earn 10 stars!!!!!!!

This album was the 3rd album from the offspring. Ignition was great but didn't get as popular. But as soon as the videos for 'Come Out and Play(Keep 'Em Seperated)' 'Self Esteem' and 'Gotta Get Away' were released they hit big time.
Then Ixnay was amazing. The First 4 Albums were the best and i can't choose between them.
I love the later albums too but they could have done so much better on Conspiracy Of One. Which if i had to choose would be my worst album.
But anything by the offspring is first class and i love them all.

The first I heard of the Bouncing Souls was when they supported Green Day on their 'Warning' tour. They had a great stage presence and the whole crowd was going crazy for their mosh-madness joke around punk rock. They sound quite similar to the Sex Pistols in the sort of tackey way that the songs come out, only not quite as anti-everything. They have a kind of comradery sound to them as if they were singing in a pub after a few drinks. It's almost a feel-good vibe, but this is true punk at it's best. The first song on this album, "I like Your Mom" is an up-beat inro that lets you know that they're just playing to have a good time. The lyrics are exactly as they suggest in the title. Green Day is surely the most excellent rock band ever. I really hate those people telling me that they're pop punk. Eh! they are punk rock and no one has ever done so much great effort on such single such as the boulevard of broken dreams. it could withstand overplaying than any other rock songs ive ever heard. from 15 years of my listening to rock music (ive been listening to rock music when i was introduced to it when i was 13), i guess i could say that american idiot, the album has SIGNIFICANT MEANING than any other rock album that ive got (count: nirvana, ramones, rancid, sex pistols, system of a down, the cure, the darkness, 9 inch nails.....). I give my utmost respec to these PUNK ROCKERS!!

The Element of Sonic Defiance

This Ep is Strung Out at their best. It's quite different to their previous stuff and their is a lot more variety. From the intense, fast and metally Mission to the Mars to the beautifully melodic Everyday. The production is amazing also, nearly every song links in from the last and complements the following song perfectly. The musicianship is as usual ridiculous with some insane technical sections (for instance the whole of mephisto) and ultra complex drumming (especially the crazy drumming on scarecrow) basically if you listen to any form of alternative music you will love this, even if you don't like punk.
