Having heard of Gluecifer a year ago I bought their latest album Automatic thrill which was a fair album. It seemed that the first half of the cd was good and tapered off around half way through.

Then I decided to take another risk hoping for a more consistent album. If anyone is new to this band this album is perfect.

As soon as the first chords crunch out with a nice little rock n roll build up you get a real idea of where this band is coming from. Its all too easily likeable, the kind of music that you can put on your sterio and start your weekend.

The Donnas

If you really, really like real punkrock, you can enjoy this early work of the Donna's. The numbers are OK, but the quality of the recording is.. let's say 'minimalistic'. I follow them for years and buy every cd they make, but even I skip most of the songs from this album, because some really hurt your ears. Only for the hardcore fans.

SNFU, an aquirred taste?? Maybe, but for me, this LP is one of the essential new wave of Epitaph releases that signalled a resurgence in an ever expanding skate / punk / hardcore scene.

Mixing the quirky story telling lyrics of their earlier records, with a slightly more break neck "hardcore" ethos - The one voted... is an classic mix of energy and off the wall humour.

Streaking by at 100 MPH, tunes like My Mould Collection and Bumper Stickers are instant additions to the many classic tunes these canadian ice hockey rockers have penned. I dare anyone to listen to Mutated Dog, and not want to laugh and mosh at the same time....

this single reveals Billie Joe's sunny, acoustic side. It is one of those singles you can never get bored with; whether it's pop or punk you're after. It has fantastic vocals and mind-storming guitar playing. Also, The bonus tracks '86' and 'Brat' live may make you feel a bit nostalgic!All the songs are performed extremely well and no-one would have any reason to doubt it. My predidtion is that this song will get very high in the charts and it's a must-have c.d for this new year. Also, check out the new album, 'Warning'
