This album is very good. Even though nothing can touch 'The Terror State' or 'Underground Network' this come fairly close. The title track is very impressive, as is: 'Right On', 'No Difference', 'Tearing Everyone Down', 'No Apology', 'Got The Numbers', the short 'Outbreak', the incredible solo effort of 'The Consumer's Song' and the hilarious 'This Is NOT A Crass Song'. If you are a Brit then you probably won't appreciate the incredibly cheesey English accent in the latter song and the amazing "New Hot Jam" at the end is brilliant to mosh to.

This single is awesome, it has some of the best songs on it and Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) is such a cute song! I would love a copy for my sister but I have to wait, anyways, awesome CD I would recommend it to anyone as it isn't just rock.

Green Day comparisons are inevitable, seeing as this band features their frontman Billie Joe Armstrong as well as stand-in guitarist Jason White, but this particular EP by the East Bay independent punk-rock outfit is more of a group effort than a Billie Joe side project- songwriting and vocal duties are shared amongst its members, contributing to Pinhead Gunpowder's individual brand of liberal punk power-pop... with a hard edge finish.
To the record itself- it's stacked from end to end with highlights- the light strum of 'Second Street', the snarling vocals of 'Buffalo', the annoyingly catchy guitar-driven grind of 'Letter From AOF (an old friend)' and chant-like choruses of 'Landlords' and the oddly upbeat 'At Your Funeral'.

To say I have listened to ‘Outta Here’ raises my cool factor phenomenally. To say I own just makes me feel privileged. If you’re interested only slightly in the music of the Gories then it’s worth owning this album. There are 14 tracks on this album and I can honestly say I don’t dislike any of them, and completely love over half of them with ‘Trick Bag’ and ‘Omologato’ being at the top of the list. Don’t sit staring at the screen pondering whether or not to buy it, just do it. You will not be disappointed… A* listening material!

While not as good as their previous record "Emergency & I" this is still one of the greatest records ever to come out of the American underground. Substituting their former eclecticness for a more cohesive, considered sound puts more importance on Travis' photographic lyrics. Pitchfork said it best when they challenged anybody in their twenties not to feel every word he sings/speaks on this record.
I would say buy Emergency & I before this record though. While the are both great records I would consider their previous work to be the best American indie record ever... Though if you have the money you should buy both. In fact even if you don't have the money you should buy both...
