And not one of these "I love Pretty Fly For A White Guy" wannabes then you'll love this album.

The fact that Pretty Fly is so succesful says a lot for youth of today (of which I am an unfortunate particiapant). This is scratchy earthy and grungy Punk; something which does translate into the later stuff if you listen hard enough.

If you want poppy Punk don't buy it; if you want one of the greatest Neo Punk bands to ever grace the planet's first album showing them off in their working man days - this is your album.

End Is Forever

When writing this review I was torn between giving the album a four or a five star rating. Ideally I would mark "End Is Forever" somewhere between the two (four and a half stars?), but, after much deliberation, I decided upon full marks for the album.
I believe that The Ataris have progressed in quite clear stages, with each album having its own distinct sound. If forced to put a label on them circa "End Is Forever", it would probably be Ataris go country. Don't, however, let this put you off. The album is brimming with ingenuity, with uses of slides (as often used by country artists - hence the country-ish feel) cello, piano, moog and Joey Cape, both singing backing vocals and making dead animal noises.

This album is just brilliant! Being a big fan of Me First for a long time I have long awaited this new release and I wasn't disapointed! It is great! There are some ace covers to songs such as "I believe I can fly" adn "End of the Road". My personal favourite is the cover of "nothing compares".
If you like punk or want a good introduction to it then this album is a must have. And any fans of Me First should not hesitate to get this album as in my opinion, it is their best!!

White Trash Two Heebs & A Bean

This is an absolutely superb album, packed with the kind of catchy and witty songs that afficionados of the American Hardcore scene have come to expect from this band. If you're into energetic guitar music and like to sing along, this is an essential purchase. "Please Play This Song On The Radio" says all that needs to be said about current chart acts, but in a song that none of them could ever hope to write, let alone carry off. If you're a fan of Bad Religion or early Offspring, you'll know all about this band. If you're not, you should give them a go - there'll almost certainly be several songs you like and a couple you absolutely love.

war of errorism is nofxs tenth studio album and in some ways is their most serious one yet in terms of inspiration for the lyrics,the band have always had an eye on the politics behind america but here there are more lyrics sniping at george bush and the american government than ever before ,there is anger in the lyrics but of course the sound is plain punk with whispers of melodic pop thrown in,nofx may say that they dont relate to bands like bowling for soup and good charlotte but they have influenced those bands so thats that,however nofx write better lyrics so they rightly deserve the plaudits.

An Album like this only comes once in a while. having owned it for 2 years now I can confirm that it is timeless. For all Blink fans the purchase of this album is essential, and for all fans of punk, alternative, rock and emo I highly reccomend not missing out on this album. The technical skill and diversity of drummer Travis Barker on this album is inspiring, whilst Tom Delonge's Lyrics and guitar parts have taken a darker tone that can also be heard on Blink 182's new album. Songs like 'Cat like Thief', 'Tiny Voices', 'And I' and 'There Is' are some of the best while the only downfall of the whole album is 'My First Punk Song', which thankfully is quite brief. Barely Legal

There is so much anger and energy in 'Barely Legal' and it's what I am looking for in any punk album. I do like some of the later Hives material but you could argue it's more watered down whereas this album may not be beyond say 'Tyranosaurus Hives' in the songwriting department but is much harder and faster if that's what you're looking for.

This is the best Hives CD I've come across yet hands down.

I bought this album on the recommendation of a friend and haven't stopped listening to it since. Short, punchy songs that could have easily been written during the punk era. The girls play and sing this like they really mean it!! It's like an album that Courtney Love wished she had made! But these girls are British!! Great album. Great attitude. Give it a try. You won't regret it!!
