... just like the sticker on the front says, this is an essential morriconeography! A gorgeous 2 CD set with a fat full colour booklet full of movie stills and a forward by John Zorn. All of the tracks are from the period 1969 to 1974 and this is the rare stuff, not some of the garbage (unfortunately) being knocked out by cheapo labels. Musically, even if you aren't a fan of Morricone's films (shame on you!) this will interest anyone with a penchant for slightly bizarre, psychedelic soundtracks. Unmissable.

The Ultimate Relaxation Album

The first CD of this collection is quite good, the second is pretty good too. They are both quite mellow and relaxing.

The third CD is too odd and new agey.

The fourth CD is quite brooding and not at all relaxing, it's mainly Bach music with cheap and nasty synth effects played over the top.
