Having listened to the score of Cinema Paradiso a couple of times, I simply felt compelled to write a review, something I haven't done before. My love of the music started when I borrowed the movie from a family member; whilst I certainly found the film charming, for me it was the music which made me sit up and pay attention. The score contains a number of recurring themes which I found myself humming for days. Of particular note is the 'love theme' which is played in a variety of styles within the score - my particular favourite is when the theme arises in the track 'Runaway Search and Return', a romantic theme played within an exciting and fast-paced track.
