I've been a fan of Stevie's since I was a teenager back in the late 60's. I believe that he is one of the true greats from Motown and this is one of his best albums. "Ain't no lovin'" is a song of joy by someone that has found his true love which is echoed later in the lyrics "For Once in My Life". As a teenager I thought "God Bless the Child" was a Wonder creation until I grew older and learnt that it was a Billie Holiday and Arthur Herzog Jr composition. Nevertheless Stevie Wonder makes the song his own and evokes the hard times that prevailed when the song was written.
"Sunny" written by Bobby Hebb has been covered by at least 40 other singers but Wonders is the definitive version. Again he's singing about someone that he has fallen ... Read More:

Very catchy songs, some romantic others more soulful.

Of all the women he sang with (Diana Ross, Kim Weston etc), Marvin seemed most at ease with Tammi. (although they didn't always record their parts live in the studio together & some songs don't actually feature Tammi's voice at all!)

This CD contains all their hits plus some lesser known & diferrent versions of the hits.

You may be surprised how many you recognise!

Standout tracks for me include Ain't No Mountain High Enough, If This World Were Mine, You Ain't Living Until Your Lovin and The Onion SOng.

Well worth buying if you like romantic songs well sung.

This album does exactly what is says on the tin - its funky, rock tinged Psychedelic soul at its best!

After a decade of mostly romantic smoochy songs, often written by Smokey Robinson, the Temps entered the 1970s with a bang!

Norman Whitfield took over the reins & tapped into the hippy & black power emotions running high at the time & the Temps turned out some of their very best work.

The lead singer for many of these hits was Dennis Edwards, who's voice was better suited to the more political lyrics than it was to earlier Temps hits such as "Just My Imagination"

This album contains most of the Temps best work in this field & for under £3 is an absolute bargain!

Gold its a great 2 cd set by the girls, it does have a good mix of all the songs by the supremes and will keep you singing along with the songs long after they have stopped playing. what more can you ask. great songs by the best. enjoy

Just to reccomand other people this double compilation, which includes a lot of famous songs end 70'beginning 80', ther performer is really great, Micheal Mc Donald voice it seems to keep these songs alive, even the one's older than 20 year, but you do not realise that!! He si great, and this kind of music is always appreciate expecially if you have friends at dinner, it is easy listening music and you'll never change this cd when it is over!
