Like every other NOW CD, all the good songs are put onto the first CD and this not unlike any other. With the exceptions of coldplay, The Ting Tings etc CD 1 is mostly the reason to buy this. CD 2 has just a few good songs on it and the rest are those that didn't come anywhere close to the top ten in the charts. Worth buying for the first CD

Some of the songs sound very similar to each other and the quality of the best song on the album - track 6 'Circus' is terrible.
Release Date November 24, 2008
What A disappointment this album is. Compared with Hot Fuss's top tracks Mr. Brightside, Smile Like you Mean It, And Somebody Told Me this sounds tired and lifeless. Human and Spaceman sound like limp Flock Of Seagulls rejects. The production also drains all life out of the tracks. Sam's Town was poor after Hot Fuss with too much filler. This is worse it's all filler and no killer. The end of the road for this band I think.

As a newcomer to KOL, having seen and liked KOL at several festival gigs on television this year (2008), I decided to buy a couple of their albums, this one, and Because of the Times.
OBTN is definitely my favourite - a real "grower". There's a sense of atmosphere, and production values recalling at times both U2 and Big Country, whilst very definitely remaining uniquely Kings of Leon.
Whilst I like a number of the tracks on BOTT, I find some of the writing on it somewhat clunky and disjointed - great rock anthemy stuff for earlier KOL fans, no doubt - but OBTN is for me a far more mature piece of writing, with great themes, transitions, subtle but insistent riffs that really grow on you, great vocals.

Not many artists can produce 3 top selling albums and then top them with something that is all together in a different league. Not many artists can have such a wide appeal whether you're 16 or 60. Not many artists can produce an album with lyrics so very personal without sounding self absorbing. Well Pink has done all of those. Whether you want straightforward rock, dance music or stunningly beautiful ballads (no Dion/Carey warbling here), combined with edgy almost bluesy vocals, this album has it all. Frankly, this is a classic.

Now I am a huge Girls Aloud fan always have been and always will, I own all their songs and have been to see them on EVERY tour (Much to my partners dismay!) BUT I can honestly say that this is their WORST album. The only song worth a listen is the Promise. Where are the classic sounds of "Wake Me Up" Something Kinda OOh" "The Show" and "Biology"??? None of the songs on this album stand out and I think that this is a really poor effort from the girls.
I can honestly say I am glad I will be on Holiday when they are touring next year, because I wouldnt want to hear ANY of these songs live. This album is B.O.R.I.N.G. Buy The Saturdays album Chasing Lights if you like the OLD Sound of Girls Aloud!!!!

the music great especially when the first time you see the film.
ive been able to relate to the films from the beginning but this one is by far the most emotional. the music puts across so many feelings that made me cry 4times throughout.
buy the CD after youve watched the film or you wont get the entire impact of the music.

Rhydian has a great voice, and is a great personality also, but in my opinion some of the songs on this album are a little "old-fashioned".
I would have liked the inclusion of some more modern songs as well as the "classics".
Having said that, Rhydian has an outstanding voice, deserves every success, and I recommend you buy this album!

My daughter bought me this for my birthday, cant stop playing it full volumn in the car. Cry everytime it gets to "slipping thru my fingers" I can really relate to this song. A must for every Abba fan and even some who aren't. All the cast did a fantastic job with all the songs, some better than others.
