Great compilation of classic guitar hits taking standout tracks from the previous 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' compilations, but a note to customers that the tracklisting given here is incorrect. When storing my copy of this album onto iTunes this tracklisting was given, but I found on listening that it was wrong so here is the correct version:

Cilmi has a characterful voice, but her album is let down by poor quality control. 'Sweet About Me' is undeniably great, and the ballad 'Safer' is well above average, but much of the rest seems like autopilot Xenomania to me - too many tracks sound like the ones Girls Aloud left in the wreckage after a ram-raid on the studio. The bonus cover of 'Echo Beach', a proper song with a memorable tune, only shows up the fluffy filler that precedes it.

In Silico

Im not a massive fan of drum n bass and dont think i ever will be but 'In Silico' has certainly drawn me in and made me think twice. I constantly listened to Radio 1 talking about how great Pendulum were so i thought i had to listen for myself and see if they were all they were cracked up to be!!

They certainly didnt disappoint!

I only brought this album at the weekend and it has been playing on my car radio ever since. 'Propane Nightmares' is probably the stand out track on the album and the most recognisable to any non-pendulum fan but 'The Other Side', '9,000 Miles' & 'Granite' are other faviroutes.

A must buy for anyone!

1) When they next get together to get another series of 'Classic Albums - The Making Of' DVD's, this should definitely be one of them, and
2) Every 'serious' rock fan's collection should have this album, it is absolutely essential!!

The first time I heard Imelda May and her band was when she was the supporting act for Jools Holland at Stanford Hall earlier this year. Must say that I was very impressed, so much that I bought the CD straight after at the Gig. Rockabilly type music that I wouldn't normally be into. She has a fantastic voice and this is a great CD, you won't be dissapointed.

When i first heard The Shock Of The Lightning, i was literally blown away. Oasis have always come up with the goods in terms of lead singles but with this track they have delivered something truly special, blending the raw, relentless feel of The Hindu Times with the undeniable pop sensibilities and catchiness of the Don't Believe The Truth singles we have a song that is instantly accesible.

It is testament to Noel's songwriting skills that hearing this on the radio, it already sounds like a classic. Put simply, i love this track and if the rest of the album is as good as this song it will be a true highlight of 2008.

Bad For You Baby

If you like Moore, then here is the latest to add to your collection. It's pretty formula stuff - great blues rock - some boogie, some a bit heavier, and of course wonderful long ballards with superb guitar wizardy, delivered only how Moore can.

I won't go through track for track, because if your a fan you will get the drift, this is simply more and more of what Gary does best. A couple of noticeable mentions though. How about the 10 minute long "I Love You More Than You'll ever Know" epic? Sheer class over and over again, and "Mojo Boogie" whioch is foot tapping stonkingly good and subtle tones of Quo! Another track has some welcome female backing vocals, which adds some extra to the album.
