I would give the DVD 5 star rating too. The program is awesome. Take That is in it's best form, and concert is wonderfully conceived.

I trained myself to perceive buying something I like on a Blu-ray, after I already have it on a DVD, as an upgrade and not double-dipping. As such, I expect it to actually BE an upgrade...

Unfortunately... it was lit for the in-house audience and not for cameras (at least not for cameras used to shoot this concert). Insufficient light leads to grain and grain is abundant here, there is a lot of blocking and it is obvious that there is something gravely wrong with the colors and contrast. If you're like me you may not be too enthralled by listening to religious music. Saying that though, you are missing out on something that is very relaxing. You can put this album on and just listen to it, or play it as background music whilst doing something else (as I do).

Many people like me have found that listening to Gregorian Chant (named after Pope Gregory the Great), has a very relaxing influence and seems to help to de-stress. So, even if you are not religious you can still appreciate something to help cope with todays hectic lifestyles.

Just a beautiful album, with the band sounding so relaxed and note perfect. I really do recommend this so much. And don't forget to pop the DVD into your PC for the extra mp3s: so far there's 'Wot's Uh...the Deal', Dominoes and a rather amazing Shine On You Crazy Diamond. A new track will be added every month until September 2009. How great a package is this! :-)

I bought this albulm off the back of really liking the single 'Spotlight'and I was not disappointed. It is a really good albulm with a great mix of songs on it, I don't think there was one that I flicked through. I think that Jennifer Hudson has a brilliant voice and this really shows it off.

I kind of trusted on the reviews.Ok there are some great songs on it,the classic but also a lot of rubbish.A great number of songs (even some famous ones) sound like they were recorded with electronic music.
I'm going to look for a cd with maybe less songs but more quality.

...and just in time for Christmas!

Difficult to see who this set is really aimed at. On the one hand, the casual listener is already well served by the numerous ABBA compilations currently on the market (there are or have been more ABBA Best Ofs than there have genuine ABBA studio albums); on the other, the serious fan will be disappointed by the lack of genuine rare material (no foreign language hits and, more importantly, no unreleased stuff from the vaults).

So, peerless though some of the music is, I can rate this latest repackaging no higher than three stars :-(

I was very excited to hear that Blake had a new album coming out so I quickly ordered this one. I have to say, while I still love their music, it came as a disappointment. Quite a few of the songs that are being covered are too well known and Blake's version is not that different from the original. What made their first album great was the unique way their voices gave character to well-known pieces of music. This album however lacks the warmth and originality of the first. It is a bit too "pop" and "balladesque". Best song in this album is probably "Chasing Cars".

You can argue about who's been most successful or who has the most stage presence, but when it come to sheer vocal ability Christina has her peers beat hands down.
