This album is twice as good as his previous effort and I have therefore given it two stars. His voice is still annoying though. Maybe someone should suggest to him (nicely) he does an instrumental album. Yikes..

David Cook's album is rock through and through, with catchy tunes, and lyrics that will get stuck in your head. From the athemic Declaration and Heroes, to the softer Come back to Me, to the poigantly personal Permanent, to the Metallic crunch of Bar-ba-sol ..... there's something for everyone on this album

If you like the music sound of Bon Jovi, Daughtry, U2, then you'll love this album.

I had the tape of this and loaned it to a woman I worked with, she was then suspended from work and in the interim I left my job to go to another one. In short, I would like it back, so if you are reading this (you know who you are!) can you find some way of getting it back to me? I could just buy a replacement couldn't I? Maybe I will. Anyway, this is more good '...Clue', some hilarious moments, particularly on the anniversary show with Stephen Fry (sound charades is among many funny moments). Clue fans will know what to expect and will not be disappointed. I will start by saying that I am a take that fan - loved Beautiful World - but try as I might I cannot find the same quality in this single. I actually find it hard to believe that this song was written by the same four guys who penned 'rule the world', 'patience' 'shine' etc.
Its not a great advert for 'The Circus' album. I was gutted that I wasn't able to get tickets for the circus tour - but now I am finding it easier to cope !!!

Whist not having the usual suspects such as Slade,Shaky et all this is still a worthwhile buy. It is more a seasonal selection rather thanS specifically christmas stuff. Stop the cavalry is there(disc 1) tho id prefer it if it wasnt as after having a downstairs neighbour who used to blast it out at all hours im pig sick of it!! Theres some lovely 50s and 60s stuff (Alma Cogan and the divine Kay Starr, a whole heap of Nat King Cole and Dean Martin and almost a disc of real christmas songs. Even The Muppets turn up although the inclusion of The Seekers Morningtown Ride is baffling until played alongside the wintery feel of the other tracks. To me this set of eleven songs seems like This Is The Life - a deserving worldwide hit, with six million YouTube views at the time of writing - and ten charming variations. Collectively, they just about pull their weight, and occasionally get close to genius (e.g. 'Poison Prince', in my humble opinion). I very much hope we will see one or two more big ideas in the second album.

This is a bona fide pop/dance classic. FF hark back to the 80's..the best parts..and you won't be disappointed if you enjoyed the early career-defining albums of Prince/Eurthymics/Thompson Twins/Spandau(early singles)Heaven 17. Add-in some Parachutes Coldplay and some chiming,exciting guitar work and you've got the best confection I've heard for a long,long time.
It's the kind of album that makes you want to shout from the rooftops for everyone to take time out to listen,dance and enjoy.
I don't know what else FF could do to make a classic debut...they could be prettier?...from NYC?...have celebrity girlfriends?......but that's just the fluff that would get them a Red Top audience.

I love this album and think it's very fun, quirky and different from anythin' else out at the moment. An impressive debut for such a young girl. My advice is don't judge this album too quickly. It's filled with many different styles of music from pure fun pop to sugary sweet mid tempo R&B ballads, dance, electronic, this album has it all! Fresh, creative, quirky, upbeat, fun and original is how I would describe it. A really good try and definitely worth a listen!

I've loved Leona since seeing her in the auditions in the Xfactor and truly think she has one of the best voices we've heard for a long time.
I was anxiously waiting to hear her new album, especially after the amazing track that was 'Bleeding Love', but unfortunately i think the album comes a little short.
Don't get me wrong, when the songs were right the album was awesome, and there are about 5 or 6 brilliant songs on here including Bleeding Love, Better in Time and Homeless. I just hope that in her next album, every track is amazing, because in this album there are too many naff songs. Lets hope that her AMAZING cover of Snow Patrol's Run is a sign of things to come.

This has to be one of the greatest rock albums of all time, and for me AC/DC`s second best after the previous "Powerage".The production on this is excellent, recently purchased this on cd as my vinyl copy is on its last legs.Great to hear it again, where do you start,all great tunes but stand out for me are,Highway to hell,walk all over you,If you want blood and touch to much.
I was lucky enough to see this tour and went two nights running at Manchester Apollo,awesome.Have a great memory of being at the Led Zep Knebworth gig in 79 and they played this album in full over the pa system.
Of course this was Bon Scott`s last album and he was/is sadly missed.After this album came their biggest selling album"Back in Black", another great solid record but ... Read More:
