I have to agree with the writer of the 1-star review that the actress who plays Elphaba on Broadway (and is featured on the cd) definitely has a disappointing voice compared to the West End actress. However, I do think that the actors playing Glinda and the Wizard, in contrast, have a better voice on Broadway, compensating a little for Elpahaba. I really do hope that a West End version of this cd will become available at some point.

On first listen, eveything is here that you expect from a Tracy Chapman album: an obvious sincerity of thought and expression, love and politics and reflections. What makes this album so convincingly good, is the music of the musicians involved. Rob Burger, Carla Kihlstedt and all the others do not deliver some usually well-done studio work, they comment and enrich the songs in very interesting ways. Producer Larry Klein is looking for a different setting for every single track without lacking coherence. it's a flow from start to end. Very ,very dissapointed with this CD, heard a bit on classic FM, rushed out to buy it, There have been 100s of albums with pipes and drums, and I though being The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards it would be superior. I regret having spent my money on this CD. look for budget CDs of pipe music, you will probably get the real thing, and much better.

The Carter 3 is a good album , but is Waynes weakest by far.
If you havnt heard the old Carters then i suggest that you listen to them before claiming C3 is Waynes greatest album.
Dont get me wrong C3 is still a top album ( 5 Stars ) but i think it is highly overated.
Most Recognisable Tracks include Lil Waynes hit Lollipop Ft Static Major.
A Millie
And Got Money Ft T-Pain
Artist such as Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Bobby Valentino and Jay-Z also feature among others.
I recomend this album to anyone but suggest that listeners also listen to Waynes early work Eg. The Carters 1 & 2 , 500 Degreez.
Also Waynes Mixtapes Eg. The Droughts , Dedications , The Leaks.

I know Mr Diamond lets do another album together, says Mr Rubin and like the last one strip it back and bore everyone to death.

Dull, dull and dull. What are you all talking about i was asleep quicker this time than last time. Even live he tries to liven them up a bit.

I have seen Neil Diamond live many times and own all his albums including this one JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TOO. Please bring back the old Neil Diamond maybe not the Heartlight one but the Forever in Blue Jeans one would be nice.
