The entire album has a haunting and beautiful sound. Wonderful for mellow evenings at home, with good friends and good wine, or just for those special moments with your partner. The music has a spiritual feel about it and reaches right into the heart of your soul. The artists are Cherokee and have written much of the music themselves, though I gather that they have had many songs passed down to them in the Cherokee tradition. The artists are Rita Coolidge and her sister Priscilla Coolidge and Priscilla's daughter Laura Satterfield. They sing many of the pieces a cappella style though there are instruments in the background and bring in instruments as amazing as bagpipes such as in the Cherokee version of "Amazing Grace". ...
