What are you waiting for ? At this price, just get it !!
There is not a single synthesiser, studio production, nothing to interfere with the clarity of this woman's flute playing. The echo of the cave is subtle and opens out the sound. You can not only hear the occasional drip of water, but her breath also, which brings a meaningful raw feeling into the playing. She is not hiding anything anywhere and this CD is so much the better for it. You really wish you were there for this audio communication and representation of the spirits of the songs and pieces she plays. Her style is lyrical and expressive and has a gentle quality about it I haven't heard amongst her Native American male counterparts on their flute CDs. If you are seeking genuine music ... Trudell won't become a well known artist,but check him out ,he's really is brilliant!
