Mellow, tripping, carefree and atmospheric: George Winston makes some really good neo-classical noises on his Summer CD, without a doubt the most relaxing you are ever likely to listen to. If you are into your heavy stuff this is not your bag; its feather notes tumbling from the piano have nothing of the grandeur of classical tradition, yet avoids being twee. The subtlety of Chopi without his moodyness. Simple, alluring, sexy and serene. Superb. One hundred out of five.

I have never heard of Tim Wheater until amazon recommended this to me (based on music I've bought in the passed)

This c.d. was in my wish list for some time and I finally bought it with a Vangelis c.d. to make the order worth placing.
I wish I'd bought it earlier, the music is nothing short of brilliant there is not one bad track on this.
I'm not a total lover of flute and that's why I kept putting of ordering this c.d. but there is a lot more to this person than playing flute in my eyes he is as good as terry Oldfield
If not better.

Track one En Trance is a good indication of the style of the c.d. Good percussion good vocals and the flute dose not dominate the track.

Secret Garden are unfortunately a secret that few too many people know about - they won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997 for Norway and that should put 99% of the population off. However, listen to it without preconceptions. This is simply the best album I have in my collection built up over the last 40 years. The instrumentation is sublime, always sincere and somehow humble, belonging almost to a different time. Angel Love

I have owned this CD for years and never tired of it. It is completely gorgeous. When travelling it envelops me in a cocoon; around the house it sets a completely peaceful yet warm, heart-centred tone. Fantastic. Listen to the sample and buy it- it's a classic.
(PS stay clear of Angel Love II though - it doesn't come close!)

If you never listen to anything else by Harold Budd, listen to this. It takes me to places I've only rarely visited in my life. I truly cannot describe how wonderful this album is! I don't care if no one ever rates this review, I only know what I hear every time I listen to this heavenly sound.
