This is my first yoga cd I ever bought after having lots of videos andbooks, I don't understand why Amazon don't sell it anymore cuz it seemslike a successful product. Anyway I bought it from soundstrue website at afair price.I've done the cd twice already and I love it, you have lots ofpossibilities on these 2 cd's of tailoring your own workouts which shementions in the nice booklet, you also get a beautiful big poster of allthe asanas in the cd's by their order. In these yoga cd's there are a lotof challenging poses like in the balancing track, but the overall feelingI get from these cd's is very relaxing, probably because of Shiva'ssoothing voice and the beautiful music in the background, but youdefinetly get a good workout at a moderate pace.It ... In my opinion there is very little music truly suitable for meditation. One exception I can think of is Tony Scotts Music for Zen Meditation. This CD is remarkable. I read somewhere that it was like a cross between Nawang's sensational flute playing and Arvo Part's slow meditative music. That description comes very close. It is quite simply beautiful and the ideal accompaniment to meditation or just to listen to in order to relax. There are a few other instruments alongside the flute on this recording: cello, violin, oud, chimes. You would think that would be distracting or detract from the simple flute sounds, but it isn't and it doesn't. Someone on Amazon dot com wrote about how Nawang's chanting was too quiet. I think the hushed chanting of his beautiful ... Read More:

If anyone has bought "Fates", you must buy "Equilibrium"! Mongrain's work is pushing the boundaries of music and the guitar once again. His unique feel and compositions are a portrayal of his knowledge, experience, frustration, questions, answers and opinions, analysed through his genius 2nd album. Enigmatic and strong, this is a revolutionary album. This sounds like a voice of his message and understanding of his art.
A true and innovative acoustic master using altered tunings, percussive sounds, tapping, harmonics, melody, odd signatures, classical finger picking, independent rhythms and fusion feels. Every song is magnificent and titles like "Silent fool" or "Pandora's box", swept me away by his grace and imagination. If you understand his perception ... Read More:

Azam Ali is an exceptional talent both vocally and instrumentally, as you hear right from the first track - a 14th Century love song sung in Old Provencal which is accompanied by such an eclectic assembly of instruments as Persian santoor (played by Ms Ali herself) and Armenian duduk. It reads on paper like such a modern arrangement shouldn't work, but it does. And then from France we go on a tour back and forth through Europe. There are songs from Spain & Portugal sung in Judaeo-Spanish and Galician, more from France sung in Provencal, from France & Germany sung in Latin, instrumentals from Brittany and Sweden, and even a visit to the middle East with a cover of a Byzanto-Arabic song (from Byzantine Chant) originally by one of my favourite vocalists Marie Keyrouz ... If you want to sooth away your troubles then you will enjoy this, you can almost feel you are on the beach listening to the waves crashing to the shore, and the sea breeze blowing over you. Soothing music in the background.

This is a very chilled CD but literally noises from the rainforest so literally does what it says on the tin! No more no less. No soft music in the background but does the job of sending you to sleep and relaxing you. Thought I was in a tent in the middle of a forest from the noise but actually was chilling in my comfy bed all warm and cosy!

An exciting collaboration between two highly accomplished visionary artist. Operating in the field you could call gothic new age, beautiful and spiritual and at the same time open to the darker regions of the mind (and the world).
Klaus S. is of course a master sculptor of soundscapes. Lisa Gerrard has quite simply a stunning voice and a stunning technical mastery: sounding at times like a Wagnerian heroine, a Middle East belly dancer or a new age goddess. That all vocals are being spontaneous improvisations is quite simply an amazing achivement, showing her openess to higher influences.
Suited for meditation, fantasy journeys, explorations of inner space.

... I prefer the "old" Jean Michel Jarre. All in all, there is a lot of brilliant moments in the album, like Fresh News (absolute awesome), Vintage, Melancholic Rodeo, even Beautiful Agony and Téo & Téa 4:00 AM.
As last word about this album it's a very fresh album and unexpected from the Jarre trademark. This is both a bad and good thing at the same time.
