I bought this CD two years ago and have never tired of listening to it. I can honestly say that it is the most relaxing and calming music that I have ever been fortunate enough to come across. I find it particularly useful as background ambience whilst I study for my degree. I would also highly recommend that Secret of the Panpipes be played in any situation that would benefit from a soothing influence.

Warning: This record is so delicate just taking it out of the sleeve could see it shatter.
Built around a core of repressed piano playing and understated vocals this strangely named album is a subtle gem. The Scandinavian staple of understated beauty has won through again in a record that sits very nicely alongside Joni Mitchell's Blue and the self-titled debut album by former Talk Talker Mark Hollis.
The sleeve photos say it all. Susanna is shrouded in shadows that never quiet reveal the woman, and, in much the same way, these lilting, mesmeric songs never quite break into the light.
This is a wonderful record for those who like late-night listening. Upbeat no, uplifting yes. A record with real warmth that, after repeated ... Read More:

This is so beautiful and peaceful, relaxing. As an artist I am always searching for music to assist the flow of creative energy and this is a most played favourite(along with shamanic dream vol 1). This music really helps to connect you to higher states of awareness, dreamtime. Highly recommended.

This album, originally released in 1973, was Clannad's first offering to the world. Already on this first album Clannad made its mark (at least in my opinion). As the band's name indicates, Clannad (which means family), was comprised of one sister, Maire her brothers Ciaran, Paul Brennan and their twin uncles Noel and Padraig Duggan (Paul would later leave the group to pursue a musical career of his own). Certainly an intensely Irish musical family and their joy in making music together is evident throughout.
This first album displays all of the strengths which characterize their work in general: - Maire's ethereal and hauntingly beautiful voice, perhaps Clannad's most powerful musical asset. The harmonious choruses of Maire and ... Read More:

I was first drawn to Loreena's work at the suggestion of a fellow Enya fan who suggested that I may like her work. However, there is no real similarity in the two singers' styles.
I've since become a huge Loreena fan and do not hesitate to recommend her music to people. I must admit that I prefer her more recent material - a great deal of which is highlighted on this album.
This album is always essential listening for me if I want to relax and always travels with me on holiday. The music is so beautifully constructed and Loreena's voice is genuinely haunting.
This serves as a fabulous showcase for a unique talent.

I'll be really honest - I'm disappointed with this. I suppose it's unfair to expect a third album of the calibre of Antoher Green world or Before & After Science but I suppose that's exactly what I was hoping for, and this isn't it.
I like Eno's singing voice but it appears he doen't. At least three tracks here feature that bloody awful vocoder thing that Cher used years ago, and it spoils the tracks completely.
The dynamics I anticipated aren't here; the "open spaces" are filled more often and the songs are just not up to the standard I anticipated - I've lived with this album for a while before reviewing because of the way I felt.
It's okay but really nothing special.

I bought the law of Attraction in Action DVD from another site but felt a
need to write a review on Amazon as there were none for this DVD on this
site. I was a bit shocked as I found the imformation on the Dvd to be
very informative. The humour expressed by Abraham through Esther is both
funny and an eye opener, who would think the the Divine Source would have such a funny side. Abraham answers all the questions with such clarity
giving several examples to explain even further.I think if you can relate to anyone of the questions asked this DVD is totally worth the listen. PS total running time just over 3 hrs.
