My son is 6 weeks old, and very colicy so wasn't getting much sleep. Bought this cd and works a treat, first time played it he slept for 4 hours, woke up for a quick feed then straight back off again.
Has also been good for my sanity,lay down with baby in afternoons and relax for an hour.
Highly recommend this cd to any mother, if they having problems or not. Will be buying a copy for my friend who is due her baby in June.

I highly recommend this CD for prog fans. Retro 2 is like an ideal classic rock album where every element comes together. It has very high quality musicianship, writing and arranging, and production. And like any great classic album, it's an experience to listen to the whole thing. It takes you from driving hard rock with impressive playing to complex and expansive arrangements with some really spacey parts. There's also a couple of conventional songs and a great piano piece. Like the previous record, Rick uses only analog instruments and this record is a great demonstration of the different things those instruments can do. I also want to mention that Rick's guitar player, Dave Colquhoun, is amazing. I hope people buy this record!

I have never been disappointed in any Deuter CD but of all his music, and I have nearly all of them, this is truly beautiful. The last one I bought (Koyosan) was also amazing. I sincerely know that any of Deuters CD's will not disappoint anyone. He really is the best artist as far as I am concerned.

This music evokes the beauty and also the artist's mixed emotions connected with the lake. He experienced personal tragedy here, and that part of his emotions is expressed through the Celtic flavor of the music. But there's more than sorrow here. There's also a respect and an admiration. Mixed emotions indeed.

There's true depth here as the water theme is expressed. Appearances by Sinead O'Conner and Roma Downey enhance the effect.

This is music to open oneself up to, and in so doing, you may indeed experience the depth of emotion, but for most of us, there is hope and acceptance here, not depression. And of course, there is a kind of beauty, the beauty of life in each of its aspects.
