I think this CD is great and I challenge anyone not to feel upbeat and happy after listening to 'Boum'. I'd recommend it for a Sunday afternoon or when you're out having a picnic...it just takes you to a different place.
I absolutely agree with a previous reviewee that you could just close your eyes and be transported away to a cafe in rural France.

Edna owns three other toothy George CDs and this is arguably the best - cheap at half the price! There are occasional duff tracks like "The Ghost" and "Baby" but there's a lot of great stuff here too: greatest hits and also rarer songs that don't appear on any other albums I've seen. Sample line from "The Left Hand Side of Egypt": "I found the gold watch case all right, but she gave me the works on the following night." GENIUS!

It Might as Well be Swing is a charming album that has been masterfully crafted and one of my personal favourites. However I must agree with the notion that the album cover is atrocious! What were they thinking?

The song selection is simply sublime and it happens to include my favourite song of all time. "More" is in my opinion one of simplest, yet most beautiful songs, lyrically, ever written and for it to get the Sinatra and Basie treatment pleases me greatly. We also see signature songs and definitive versions of "Fly Me To The Moon" and "The Best is Yet To Come" arise in this album. A rendition of Jack Jones' "Wives and Lovers" is also a welcome treat, the tempo has been changed to 4/4 swing time however the version for me is ... Read More:
