The combination of the great man Nat, & the man from England, ( His protege ) was a work of genious. The master (now a vocalist) and pupil as accompanying pianist.
I bought this album some years ago, and the CD version remains in the glove box of my car, to soothe my savage breast, when confronting the other idiots on the road. Super music. Isn't it sad that the young people of today don't know what they are missing ?

I am thrilled I bought her CD - have not stopped listening to it and love her voice as well as the songs. I followed her through the BBC show and thought she was a star from the beginning.
I feel the online review of this CD by Malcolm Mackenzie of thelondonpaper
is extremely unfair and unfounded. Maybe he just doesnt appreciate this type of music.
It has a been a good buy for me

This is a superb collection of the best of John Denver, a must have for all true JD fans, in a beautifully presented 4 set album, starting at the beginning of his career and working through to the end,a total of 79 songs. It includes information and photographs of JD and is in my opinion great value for money.

Born Harry Crosby but nicknamed Bing after a newspaper cartoon character that he enjoyed as a child, he had well over three hundred hits on the American charts. His British chart history is modest (twelve different hits) but his most prolific years were already past by the time British sales charts began.

The tracks on this compilation generally date from the thirties and forties and include duets with the Andrews sisters, Bob Hope, Al Johnson, Louis Armstrong and (via overdubbing) David Bowie. You could fill several CD's just with Bing's duets and there are other compilations that explore these in greater detail.
