It took me a while just to realise how WICKED this selection is. I am suitably converted.I would recommend this to anyone with a penchant for slick, cool hip-hop/R & B.Everyone probably knows "No Scrubs", "Unpretty" & "Dear Lie" but there is so much more.My personal faves are "My Life" - BAD lyric spitting by the sadly-departed Lisa "Left Eye" LOpes (RIP), and "Lovesick". This outfit will be hard,if not impossible, to emulate! WORD.

Diana

Diana Ross had not had a big UK hit since 'Love Hangover' in 1976 when this album was recorded. I love it, because it's the album that introduced me to the music of Diana Ross and in time many other Motown legends.
This is not a typical Diana Ross album as there are no traditional ballads. Instead we get a succession of cool grooves from Chic's Edwards and Rogers with Diana's sumptious vocals over the top. Apart from the obvious charms of 'Upside Down' and 'I'm Coming Out' the outstanding tracks are 'Now That You're Gone' and 'Tenderness' (a minor hit in 1981).
This album is equally loved and loathed by Ross fans but whatever your opinion it shows Diana as a serious album artist rather than a singer of hit singles. The deluxe version allows ... Read More:

The Writing's on the Wall

This album is a great peice of work from destiny's child. It will always be their greatest album. The lyrics and beats are varied so much throughout. It has a mixed bag of love songs and sexy r n' b beats. My personal favorites on this album are "so good","bugaboo","hey ladies","jumpin jumpin","get on the bus". This album shows that DESTINY'S CHILD have talent, not just BEYONCE. It got everyone noticing that these girls were ready to take over the world by storm! ****IT'S A MUST HAVE!!!!****

SHAME ON YOU WEA! - WHY?

The bonus DVD contains the All Saints videos, but they only last for about the first 60 seconds and fade out.... usually after the first verse.

This is by far the best Christman album I've ever heard! It was recorded in 1967 when he was only 17 years old. He really creates a lovely atmosphere with this album, and all songs are wonderfully done (especially "Ave Maria" and "The Christmas Song"). There is a reason why this album has survived four decades...If you've got lots of Christmas music at home but you haven't got this one, then you've still got nothing! Get it NOW before Christmas arrives!!

.............A copy of this great cd, i dare you to buy it and only get it out at christmas! It can be enjoyed the whole year round i mean i was listing to in greece in June! In the same way that one becomes colder the further away from the sun travel, the quality of MJs CDs/LPs diminished the further away he departed from his best CD Off the Wall. As this is the CD after the great 1979 release, he still has something in his favor. By & large he was still blessed to be working with Quincy Jones & the under valued Rod Templeton. At this time he wasn't chasing the title of King of Pop, or following the latest trends. He was also using live instruments ( the lack of which, I feel, diluted his future CDs) Add to this base, the writing skills of Toto, the guitar skills of Eddie Van Halen, the vocal 'rap' of Vincent Price, and you have all the ingredients of a major, major hit.
