As stated in a previous review, a very under rated album!
Any one who sits back and listens to this album will not be disappointed with the totally sensual jazzy sax, the up beat drums, the strange ambient sounds dotted with the faultless voice of Marvin Gaye.
A pure journey into sound due to the variety of moods this album will encapsulate!!
Release Date October 18, 1993
Entitled as "The Ultimate Collection" this CD contains a few of the Supremes' big hits as well as some of Diana Ross' very famous recordings. As a little bonus it also includes some new recordings by Miss Ross - worth a mention is her fabulous version of "Your Love". The problem of this collection is the fact that the compilation is a truly funny mixture of songs which somehow really don't reflect Diana's career: Supremes' fans won't be satisfied with what they get and neither will be true Diana fans. The Supremes were more than one woman, more than just Diana and much more than you get from this CD. If you are a Ross fan, better buy her classic albums like "THE BOSS" or "DIANA" they have got more to offer than the many ... Read More:

I,m a great big whopping fan of Simply red, and have been for many a year! I have seen them live etc... etc.... I couldnt wait to get my hands on a copy of Home. When I heard it at first I hoped it would grow on me.. Instead, it grew mould in the back of my cupboard!! Apart from the amazing 'sunrise' and 'you make me feel brand new'.... 'It made me feel....very sleepy!'Mick's voice is amazing, its just the rest of the songs on the album are none other than pants..

I have heard of Lionel Richie and have heard a couple of his tracks...but when i went on holiday this year with my fella's parents they put this CD on non-stop and it is absolutley brilliant...each time i hear it now it reminds me of being on holiday!!
Release Date July 07, 1997
In my opinion this is an even better album than Thriller. It's completely original, brilliantly weird and incredibly funky. Try to stay seated as grooves like Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel and Smooth Criminal come on. But the tender ballads Liberian Girl and I Just Can't Stop Loving You are also marvellous. In fact one of the things that separates this from many dance albums is the compassion of the lyrics. Also, the attention to detail is amazing, from the bossy police chief in Smooth Criminal to the string in Liberian Girl. All in all, this is Jacko at the peak of his powers.

The British media had a long long love affair with Diana Ross and her work. She was present on our radio and the charts for over thirty years. This came to an end about ten years ago. This album was her first solo effort in 1970, and did well enough for her to get established as a solo star.
If you have hits package and want to get in a bit more, this is a good place to start. The only track you will probably duplicate is 'Reach Out and Touch', her first single. The album also contains 'Aint No Mountain High Enough', but the full 'tour de force' six minute version is here, rather than the single edit found on most compilations.
Some soul fans berate her thin nasal voice and pop excesses. For me, when she has good material, and good producers (like ... Read More:

This album epitomised all that was funky with Cameo, from their humble beginings when they were a 7 piece outfit to the later incarnation when it was just the 3 and you can't forget the "Cod piece" Blackmon wore that with pride and it often was commented on in the papers. but apart from that this CD is pure 80's funk. the coolest of the cool, you had to have this CD to be anyone. Some of the biggest singles of the 80's are on this album. Buy it, play it and say "awwwwwwwh"
Release Date June 23, 1992
IMHO a great album...but not as good overall as the self titled first. Lionel Richie
To ensure continued enjoyment, NEVER expose yourself to the videos!
Worth having just for Steve Lukather's epic solo on 'Running with the Night' -apparently there are Heavy Rock fans who listen to this track.
