Have had this in my collection and wanted to order a second copy and was shocked by the lack of feedback. this album is a classic - its a combination of different musical styles and unlike most songs it actually has a message AND is entertaining. Every one who appreciates good music should watch this.

Janet Remixed

...and bought this one only because at that time I collected everything Janet & because of the 2 bonus songs, but it was worth it. The album features nine remixes of her erotic R'n'B songs including "That's the Way Love Goes", "If", "Because of Love" and "You Want This". It has two remixes of "Any Time, Any Place", from which the R. Kelly Remix is the better. My special favorites are the romantic "Where Are You Now" (remixed by Nellee Hooper) and the dynamic "What'll I Do" (remixed by Dave Navarro). Both are better than the original versions on the "janet." album.
The bonus songs are good too, although not as good as the remixes. "70's Love Groove" was her most erotic song till the release of the "All For You" album.

I remember going thru a bad breakup at the time and listening to "If Only for One Night" - does u up badly because it is such a good song. Other gems are "Here and Now" - the perfect wedding song, as well as "If this World Were Mine". Mamma Mia, soul from the soul.

God, this girls good! I wanted this album since hearing the addictive Case of the Ex and had high expectations of it. Excellent is an understatement. I can truly say all 18 tracks are amazing, with great partnerships between Mya and various well known Swing/Hip-hop artists. Taking me Over with Left-Eye is a cute, catchy, happy go lucky tune as is Now or Never. The album layout is brilliant, it kicks off with girl power tunes with phat beats, then goes into bouncy, feel-good tunes and the last part of the album is packed with beautiful ballads. Mya has a wonderful, soft voice and her talents are really shown off on this album. i saw luther at wembley in 1993 about the time this album was released. i have not been to a concert like that ever. the crowds reaction to him was unbelievable. the support artist was dina carrol and she was dancing in the aisles with all the rest of us!! good album this. the highlight of which has to be the cover of the bee gees song - how deep is your love, which goes to prove that mr vandross was capable of singing just about anything he wanted to. sorely missed, so you will just have to buy his music instead.
