Shakira siempre fue mi artista latina favorita; es increible lo que alguien con gran talento puede hacer cuando tiene una gran confianza en si mismo y gente que lo apoye y crea en el; este es para mi el mejor disco de Shakira, donde ella lo ha entregado practicamente todo; canciones como TANGO, SUERTE (WHENEVER) y TE DEJO MADRID son autenticos bombazos de puro rock; lindas baladas como UNDERNEATH YOUR CLOTHES, YOU'RE THE ONE, melodias pop impresionantes como FOOL, QUE ME QUEDES TU, en total, y hasta musica al puro estilo hindu como EYES LIKE YOURS; este disco es indispensable para no solo los fans de Shakira, sino para todo fan del pop en general (por cierto, que bien pronuncia el idioma ingles).

I have to say that, for a debut album, it's not bad - he's got a few really good tracks in here. Justin's Pop roots was pulled out then replaced with R&B and light hip-hop. Some of the songwriting is downright corny lyrically but several of the songs were well done by the Neptunes and Timbaland, they made this album more than Justin.

The ballads are not that great to me but the dance tracks are well done. The tracks that stand out to me are "Cry Me a River", "Rock Your Body", "Senorita", "Last Night", "Still On My Brain", "What You Got (Oh No)", and "Let's Take a Ride".

Another drawback to this album is Justin Timberlake vocal pitch. In almost every song that he performed and sang, I felt as though he was searching for some form ... Read More:

In my opinion, no other artist could have come out with an album like this, because this album pretty much pushed every boundary, and broke every rule, and was such a stark contrast to her debut, to Christina this album was about coming out, and being herself instead of the `fake' & `forced' bubblegum pop star she was on the first album, although there is plenty of darkness on this album, it still speaks true of Christina, and she certainly doesn't hold anything back.

What an excellent idea to create a northern soul "mecca" around the clubs which gave it birth!. All of these hallowed names now so familiar to those who loved the music and the scene and which are in no small way totally responsible for its success both then and again now.

Born in 1963 I was not considered old enough to go to the all dayers and all nighters of that time. Therefore back then I loved the music but only heard a tiny portion of it and never had the honour of entering the sacred halls themselves; Blackpool Mecca, The Torch, The Twisted Wheel and Wigan Casino. Fresh Cream as well as being the debut album of powerhouse blues trio, Cream, was arguably the album which gave birth to all those blues/rock bands featuring guitar jamming soloists. It's just that Cream hit on the idea first, and probably in their short lifespan did it better than most.

Although Eric Clapton was already making a name for himself in Britain's underground scene with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, it wasn't until he joined Cream later that year (1966) that he was given a complete free rein. On 'Fresh Cream' Clapton is at his fiery best, and not on any of the other subsequent Cream or solo albums did he ever sound this good in the studio. Apparently created in less than 3 weeks, from start to finish, this is a great album and possibly Skynyrd's best. They worked 16-hour days during that time, their first break in touring for months. However, before it was released, guitarist Ed King had left (or been pushed - depending on who you listen to!), unwilling to put up with the workload any more. However, the superb Artimus Pyle is on drums, making this the strongest lineup to date. I'm amazed how the arrangement on songs like "I'm a Country Boy" and "On the Hunt" are so good - the three guitars all intertwining in that superb Skynyrd fashion - riffs, solos, slide - it's all there. Unlike the other reviewers I AM old enough to remember Barry White the first time around though I too enjoyed Ally McBeal.

BW first got into music as a musician & later as a talent spotter for record companies & then moving into the production side.

His first big hit was Love Unlimited's "Walking In The Rain" which featured BW speaking on the telephone to his girl friend.

Right from this early track (which charted in both the UK & the USA in the early 70s) the BW 'sound' could be heard: romantic strings, slushy vocals over a strong rhythm.

This album doesn't stray from the sound at all, all the tracks feature the same kind of voice (bar the 2 instrumentals), similar sounding songs & very similar arrangements.
