This is the most beautiful music I've heard in a long while. It creates a wonderful mood and takes one on a journey which one wants to be endless. Fabulously crafted. The best of East meets West.

Once Upon a Time

I know the other reviews dont really say this album is too good but hey its all personal taste and I personally prefer this to the other albums. Best songs for me are I Know, Ska Con Queso and King Dub Rock.

If you've heard dreadzone live then I dont think any of the albums do them justice but this one is closest for me.

I would reccomend it to anyone!

Greatest Hits of the 80's

This is the best ever 80s collection, For the amount of songs you can get for about more or less 10 pounds, you get plenty of value for money. Combined together with the second volume, the collection becomes even better.
Some of the songs may not be familiar to UK listener as they may be predominantly American hit singles and vice versa. The only reason why I give this collection 4.5 stars is that it doesn't includes lyrics, liner notes or even chart positions but maybe that would be too much to ask for.However, I don't know why relax by FGTH is repeated in both collections which is a waste of money. Hallucinogen in Dub

A really lovely album to listen to on headphones. Ott has blended the psychedelia and ideas and melodies of Hallucinogen with really solid dub rhythms plus added TONS of his own ideas. It never leaves the dub camp unlike other more psy-ambient works thus always having a foot-tapping beat driving things onwards. The ambient sounds are terrific and the psychedelic work with echos, filters and reverbs and beautiful too - they remind me a bit of the precise spacey soundscapes people like Vibrasphere can produce. But again, the dub baslines, drums and piano stabs and souful harmonica licks turn it into a far more musical affair than say Shpongle.

I'm definately gonna be checking out his other work.

Pretty harsh comments by the first reviewer of this CD. Yes, alot of this stuff has been reissued before but those issues are long deleted so how is a newcomer going to get his hands on this material? This CD that's how and as usual with Pressure Sounds it is packaged beautifully with great sound quality, which should always be the primary consideration of reggae reissues since I'd heard more than a few dogs in my time on lesser labels. The music is peerless, great rhythms and great singing and some interesting dub-sides, from first to last without a single dud track and there aren't too many CDs you can say that about. After the awful "Rockstone" CD I was worried that Pressure Sounds were going the way of the now sadly defunct 'Blood & Fire' reggae ... Read More:
