Metro Area's debut album is easily one of the greates dance records ever. It calls you to the dancefloor immediately but it's still musically interesting enough for a home listening. Many dance/house records tend to be too limited and not so interesting though they might work great in the dancefloor. I have listen Metro Area's album for a couple years now and i still find it interesting. This is not just a typical houserecord. Its mix of disco, electrofunk, house and boogie is just amazing. Every song is a killer in its own way.

Metro area don't lean on to cliches that sometimes are too obvious in this genre. With rhodes, live string section, warm analog keyboards and modern loops they create their on timeless sound.

All of Snatam kaur works are uplifting to the soul, the greatest gift anyone has is to uplift the human spirit and by just hearing Snatam Kaur's voice this is so easily felt. Embrace

I am a practising Healer,i teach meditation and relaxation and this music is truely relaxing.Many of my clients end up buying White stones so that they can continue to achieve the levels of meditation that i teach.I also use it during healing sessions.It has a range of soft ambient sounds that seem to echo for many hours after playing.My youngest daughter listens to it at night time it is good for calming excited children.Quite quite beatiful.

Rhythm and Jews

This is an excellent album. And you don't have to be Jewish to love it, I'm not. The opening track Fun Tashlikh is a clasic. One critic desribed the Klezmatics as "Led Zeppelin at a Jewish wedding". Well they may not be a rock band, but they do rock and have a razor sharp edge and real grit that takes Klezma music into a new arena. They blend a lot of other folk styles too from Celtic to Arabic. Overall they have added fireworks to folk and the result is electric. Also check out another album of their's - Shvaygn=Toyt.

I disagree with the previous reviewer, these book sets are marvelous. I have several and keep them with my Vinyl (Yes I still keep Vinyl). If you want a CD Box set, there is an alternative version from Motown, with an identicle track listing. This book set is the same price but includes a lavish hard back book with a wealth of information & history.

The music is what counts and the music here is consistently excellent and is an comprehensive history of the artist that is Stevie Wonder - Highly Recommended
