Norman Jay (MBE) is at the helm of an eighth collection issued under the title 'Good Times', although unlike previous volumes this is issued on the Azuli Record label, and bears the addition 'London' to the title legend. But it isn't all about change (in a reflection of Jay's recent departure from BBC London), the compilation still features the usual two cds of records apparently chosen personally by Norman.

Given that this is the eighth compilation in the series one might expect the law of dimishing returns to have begun, as the tracks which are widely and generally acknowledged as 'classics' have already been included in previous editions - and Jay does appear to have chosen tracks which (for the most part) are not likely to have ... I didn't buy this album because it would have been pointless, i already own all of the songs from buying the last greatest hits album. Of course there's no denying that the vocals are astounding, but this wouldn't change no matter how many collections she brought out. I believe this album is the best choice for anyone who is just getting introduced to Whitney Houston, as it only contains the main songs that she's known for full stop, there are certainly no fillers or remixes it's just the very best of Whitney, but for fans such as me, who've followed her though each album from beginning to end are yearning for some new material, and are getting very board with collection after collection.

This album was one of my first tastes of a new genre of music.

I cant recommend this enough, very deep insightful. The tunes kinda flow togther and they are masterfully crafted.

I personaly love to stick this on late at night after a hards days work, get some candles on, turn off the lights and maybe a crafty smoke chill and chat to friends or that special person.

The more you listen the more it grows on you. Its uniqueness is part of its charm and i couldnt imagine anyone not rating this as immense.

Enjoy listneing if you purchase it.

Every track is different, but everyone oozes class. A brilliant production, helped with the influence of Kanye West' talents, this CD just grows and grows. It has guest features from Snoop Dogg to Kanye West himself. The album runs smoothly and builds itself on being easy listening, catchy and varied. With so much quality in every track, its hard for me to say its not one of my favourite cds ever, buy it!

As one of the people who didnt purchase Ms.Rowlands first album "Simply Deep" I am more than happy with my purchase of Ms.Kelly (Deluxe Version) I fell in love with the track "like this", I could play this song till i die, its pure brillaiance!! 10/10. Also loving "Work" (freemasons remix) again a work of art, fantacstic 10/10 for this effort.........but my fav track on this re-issued, re-hashed album has to be "Come Back" (karmatronic mix) i purchased the album about 2 weeks back and havent stopped playing this track (honestly) its the best dance track i've heard in a long, long time !! i just love it, its infectious, i dare you to play this track and keep still 10/10.
