This 2CD set will be amazing. The original release was a brilliant CD and Zimmer and Howard excelled themselves beating there previous excellent effort for Batman Begins. I listened to it over and over again. I get quite annoyed at these though. As a soundtrack fan I wish they would release the complete soundtrack first time round as I resent having to buy them twice. That said this is a must have just for the 2nd disc. The first is identical to the original single disc release. Oh and once again Amazon have gone in at the deep end with the price. Just as they did with the Complete Indiana Jones. This is available for £10 less elsewhere. The laid-back Hawaiian former pro-surfer returns with a soundtrack to the Curious George movie and, from the start, you can tell that this is a perfect accompaniment music for a wide-eyed perpetually puzzled cartoon character. However, for anybody who has enjoyed Jack's previous albums, this album can be enjoyed as a stand-alone listening experience - all you have to do is relax and groove to Jack's twisty, bluesy guitar and be de-stressed by his soothing vocals. The first track, Upside Down is a classic, upbeat, catchy Jack Johnson track which could have easily featured on In Between Dreams - as could the majority of this collection. Many films release tie-in soundtracks, its nothing new. However these soundtracks often feel hollow and lackluster without the visual impact of the film itself.

While I can't say that Wall-E escapes this totally in tracks like Septucentennial or The Spaceship. These are definately pieces of music that bolster and draw inspiration from the moving image that they are paired with. On their own they either sound a little silly or simply seem to run out of any place to go.

However almost all of the music tracks on the disc make exceptional listening. There is a vast array of musical styles that have been pinned down to give this soundtrack a defining character.

This album led me to find Sarah Mclauchlan who duets on "Don't let go" she is excellent and is on a lot of soundtracks I now have all her albums.

I've seen the movie twice. I enjoyed the music too. Most of the themes are known and popular and I was decided to buy it for just 2 reasons: Gabriel Yared's delicious score (the music while Richard is looking at Jennifer looking at the window in Miss Mitzi's school)and the tango they dance togheter. I hate when moviemakers discard a score to sell songs.

the thing i love about horrible histories are that i can read them over and over again.
as a child i was addicted, and still today i read them.
the books give information easily enough for children to undersatand, and don't make you fall asleep.
all the books are fab.
