I bought this cd because Amazon offered it as a double deal for under a tenner! I loved the last song - Somewhere over the Rainbow and thought why not treat yourself to it, it costs nothing! Anyway,it is such a beautiful collection and I totally love it. Very relaxing to listen to but in no way boring, it lulls you, then teases you, then absorbs you - superb. I think it allows you to have a glass of wine and ponder or as I just did peel the potatoes and ponder!!! There's more than one gem on this cd - it is a collection of gems. Treat yourself!

I have two little girls age 6 and 8. We have owned this cd for over 2 years and they just haven't tired of it. In fact I am contemplating buying another one as our original box is broken and the lyrics sheet unreadable! They know all the words and all the tunes and have spent many hours dancing on the lovely songs from the original soundtracks.
This is a magical cd that I will keep forever long after my girls have left the nest to remind me what they used to be like when they truly thought they were princesses and that their prince charming would really come!

1) One Of Your Favourite Albums.
2) A Guilty Pleasure.
Seriously. A lot of people hate Hannah Montana thinking its a stupid kids show when look at the fantastic music.
The album starts with "We Got The Party", which is upbeat, and you will soon know everyword. Then comes "Nobodys Perfect", a frequent song on the show, and is more poppy than an explosion. Taking a break from pop comes "Make Some Noise", although having rock style is actually a slower ballad. But then it hits you-"Rockstar"-fast, addictive catchy. But "Old Blue Jeans" is a repititive-but GOOD song-how do I describe it? Electrical...Im not sure...But buckle up for "Lifes What You Make It", which has ''I should of been on the first album'' written all ... Read More:

I rented this film first and bought it because I loved it so much. One of the best films I have ever seen! If you're not very romantic or you're a grown up who has lost your magic - then you probably won't like this film ;)

Saw this show july 2008. A really moving performance from both Ruthie Henshall(magnificent) and Julian Ovenden. The music is heavenly from start to finish and it is definitely a must see again tear jerker. Wonderful.

I'm giving this CD 5 stars as it is an excellent time capsule, apart from Will You there probably isn't another song in here that would be a hit today but is an excellent example of poppy punk/new wave music from 1980. I remember seeing the film in the mid 80's and buying the album the very next day, loved it and still do today. For 3 pounds you can't go wrong (the sax solo on Will You is worth that on its own)
It's a shame that there is no current DVD of the film as it creates a good feel for the environment in which this album was written. There is an angst in the more punky songs like Big Brother and Blackman which for me make these stand out tracks and the change of tempo in Who Needs It still excites me 20 years on as the song ... I purchased these CDs individually as and when they were originally released. I have to say that the Fellowship of the Ring is my favourite, by the way. However, I also bought the extremely deluxe 4 disc (or in the case of ROTK, 5 disc) sets when the 'complete' scores were released (also worth buying, despite their price). One thing the 'complete' scores don't have is the first track from FOTR - "The Prophecy" (though parts of it exist in the 'complete' score). If you're a soundtrack enthusiast, then small variations or alternate takes presented here in the 'limited' 1-disc releases will interest you. In The Two Towers, for example, you here different mixes and end of cues not heard in the 'complete' scores, the same stands for Return of the King. ... Read More:
