If you are a massive fan of their old sound, of the Nu metal, then you should definitely avoid this album. If you are a music fan with an open mind then you should definitely purchase this. The sound that they have created is incredibly different. I really don't know why they changed that much. Once I like a band's sound I really don't like it when they try and reinvent themselves to change that, and that's exactly what Linkin Park have done here. I bought Meteora as my first Linkin Park album back in 2003 and I instantly loved it. The sound of the music was so unique, and to a 13 year old, pretty surprising as well. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Sgt. Pepper was revolutionary when released in 1967, and although the same can't be said of it now, it's still excellent. The best songs are the title cut (the reprise of which is not so good, however), the unusual but amusing 'being for the benefit of mr. Kite', the clarinets and humourous lyrics of 'when I'm 64', and 'lovely Rita'. This is probrably my favourite beatles' album , but it has one downside: unless you're a fan of eastern music and mysticism and all that, George Harrisons' 'within you without you' is a bit long and boring. I always skip this when listening to sgt.pepper in my car.

A Beautiful Lie

I had previously noticed a band called 30 Seconds to Mars being advertised etc but had never actually listened to any of their songs until a month ago. The first song I hear was A Beautiful Lie...and I was hooked....since then I have bought both albums and have not regretted it.

Not only are their albums great but their video clips are brilliantly done. Jared Leto is a very talented actor/musician and has a genuinely brilliant voice which he displays not only on the albums but also live.

I would love to see them perform someday

Waterloo

'Waterloo' is a fantastic ABBA album. All of its songs are simply amazing. My favourites are 'Dance (While The Music Still Goes on)' and 'Gonna Sing You My lovesong.' Allthe others are simply superb as well. ABBA were heading for better success in the future, but still, a fantastically put-together ABBA album. 'Waterloo' is another brilliant masterpiece thats beginning to catch the true meaning of the world of the best pop group of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This album represents everything that is bad about the state of pop music today.Pure homogenised pre-teen hokum that will appeal to adolescent schoolgirls & wannabe bimbo popstars everywhere.This is a must have album for the kids birthday party.Give these girl groups a couple of guitars & a set of real musical instruments then perhaps we might hear some real talent.

I first heard the song Case of You in the film Practical Magic and thought how wonderful it was. I bought the film soundtrack (the whole music selection for the film was pretty good) and then i bought the album Blue to see what the rest of Jonis work was like.

I fell in love with the album so completely, that now i've moved to MP3 and sold 99% of my CD's i can't bear to part with this one. One of the others is Court & Spark.

The music is so simple, the strings, drums, and her voice- the most wonderful voice i have ever heard, conveying such emotion that the music and words combined make the whole album an amazing rollercoaster of feelings and thoughts.

I'd recommend to anyone who has ever felt any kind of emotion.

Asleep in the Back [New Version]

i cant believe i hear this album now! having recently bought the brilliant Leaders Of The Free World I wanted to discover Elbow. Then I listened to Cast Of Thousands next which i included in my top 10 album list. but then I listened to this album and I was totally knocked off my feet! I just love it. this is music! reading other reviews I was deeply dissapointed they were compared to other bands. some of the reviews which compare elbow to say coldplay would have put off buying this record. If u like music then get all the albums by Elbow. Another band I thought I should recommend is I Am Kloot.

I have known this album since i was 4 years old. Had In on vinyl for a long time. Got all the pretend versions (kiritikanawa or what ever you call her, and all the others) This is the best. So to all the knockers. YOU HAV'NT GOT A CLUE. Or get a decent Hi Fi system. I thank you. Good delivery service from Amazon as usual.

Making a second album was never going to be an easy thing for Arcade Fire, Funeral was possibly the worst type of debut album a band could make being that it was absolutely amazing and possibly the best album of the last 20 years. The logical thing to do after making an album that good is to realise it's impossible for you to top it and just not even try...luckily this is not what Arcade Fire do. The band fully realise they can't ever make another Funeral, so instead of trying to make Funeral Part 2, the band instead decide to head in a different musical direction. The thing you've got to realise is that this album is not and will never be Funeral, you can't even really compare the two they're leagues apart and both are completely brilliant in different ways.
