If you think DJing is Carl Cox or Paul Van Dyk, or have listened to the the B-Boys 'Hello Nasty' and then buy this album you're gonna be dissappointed. If, on the other hand you want a genius on the wheels of steel, MMM is your man. What you have here is the best in flowing breaks and scratches, not something you can stick on at a party and expect everyone to listen to. If your a fan of scratching and break-beat you already know that this man is one of the best and you will already have this album. If you haven't got this album, have a listen before you buy. Just one word of warning 'though - if you don't like this album you don't know what it means to be a true DJ.

Take a little trip through the mind of Andrew Broder aka Fog. Apparently someone forgot to clue Mr. Broder in on the fact that music has genres, walls that should be left up, and bridges not to be crossed. Maybe he knows exactly what he's doing. Maybe he's watching Beck's genre-blending antics rocket him towads success and stardom and Fog has decided to follow. But for some reason I don't think so. Fog is a million times more sincere. He wears his heart on his sleave and it looks good there. The album has a beautifully cohesive feel from beginning to end, it makes you feel as though you are walking through the Fog.
Some highlights of the album:
"A Word of Advice" opens the album with MF Doom guest MCing ... Read More:

It's hard for me to review this as it's not really my genre of music - It's perhaps too 'DJey' for me - When it comes to hip hop, I'm more DMX or Public Enemy (showing my age!)
The reason I bought this was for the excellent, It's Goin' Down featuring Mike Shinoda & Joe Hahn from Linkin Park - One of the best mixes of Rap and Metal to date, with a great, if simple, riff, a neat rap from Shinoda and lots of cool samples, scratches and spins. I had hoped, I'd find a couple more similiar tracks but alas, no - This is definiteley one for the hip hop crowd especially if they like the more 'instrumental' side of things, all the turntables etc but if you want the Metal side of it, then you will only find the one track -so it's up to you what ... I recently bought this vinyl because i wished to hear the executioners but I was suprised to find only one small song on the whole vinyl by the executioners, so if you wish to have a vinyl with lots of xecutioners then this is not it!However, if you want a vinyl that gives an in depth look into the history of the scratch this is perfect for you.
The vinyl starts with the raw beginings of Grandmaster Flash which is the first ever scratch-orientated song ever recorded, The Adventures Of...,the vinyl then goes on to show each turning point in the history of the scratch by playing such artists as DJ Cash Money , Mixmaster Gee and the list goes on. AS the vinyl reaches the end there are a few up-to-date scratch songs that will certainly please today's ... Read More:

THIS is hip-hop. Never mind your Puff-Daddy, Eminem, 50-pence or any of those other lazy rappers who think its creative to talk nonsense over comuter programmed beats and pro-tools melodies.
Q-bert et al have made something unique with Wave-Twisters. It may not be apparent from the CD, but this is the soundtrack to an under-exposed classic animated mini-movie of the same name. Wavetwisters the movie is really hard to get hold of (but it can be done!) and thats a shame cos I've never seen anything like it. Its a stunning mix of animation styles, all soundtracked (including the dialogue!) by Q-bert and the rest of the invizibl skratch piklz. A daft story that manages to include intergalactiv travel, good versus evil, the four elements of hip-hop, ... Read More:
