It's difficult to believe that I do still listen to this album. It's also difficult to believe just how long it's been since it's release - it sounds as fresh and vibrant (indeed more so) than many which were added to my collection within the last year. It's just stunning. Buy it.

I've never really been a fan of ashanti's music i've heard her first three albums i did not like them i've heard this album and i love it! her best so far my favorite tracks one the album are the way that i love you you're gonna miss so over you and the declaration and i like the rest i give this a 10/10 must buy! it's a pity that this album has gone to #119 in the uk albums chart but on the bright side it's #6 in the usa!

I can't believe i didn't post a comment years ago. No track skipping,it was kept in my CD player (on repeat) for 2 weeks after purchasing, can listen to it at anytime of day or night. I've never heard someone make the word Mother****er sound so soulful and sexy!D'Angelo=Soul. A highly recommended album, everyone should have in their collection!

Forget the sporty bit, in fact forget she was a Spice Girl completely because on the strength of this album Mel C would have made it as a Star under her own steam without too much of a problem. Whether these same songs would have come her way under those latter circumstances is anyone's guess, but all I can say is my copy of this superb album has been damaged and developed some skipping through the tracks, so for a penny on 'New & Used' or the full price I MUST have another copy for the collection - it's essential!
She has a superb voice which was hidden behind the razamataz of the other four singing, and this album just socked everyone straight in the eye, and the chart placings of her singles simply proved the point. A corker!
