Ben E King - Music Trance (12" version)
Yvonne Gage - Garden Of Eve (12" version)
Jimmy Castor Bunch - Don't Do That (12" version)
Margie Joseph - Prophecy (12" version)
Mighty Fire - Love Fantasy (12" version/album version)
There are so many good 12"es from the period 1975 - 1985 out of the vaults from Warner, Elektra & Atlantic of which many didn't appear on cd yet, so there's a nice job for the compilers of this series.

This album gives an insight to Gladys Knight, a truly amazing and soulful singer, who is even better live. This album is not complete, in my eyes, as they have omitted to include Help Me Make It Through The Night, nonetheless it is still an enjoyable to listen to.

I have been a fan of this lady since the beginning, and yes I am very biased towards her and her music.

But in my humble opinion I dont think she has ever made a bad record and that is some achivment in this day and age, the greatest female voice backed up by the one and only Pips.

If you only have one record in your collection make it this one..........

I have been on the Gladys Knight journey since her Pips days way back in the sixties. I wore out my vinyl copy of Just Walk in My Shoes, it was my "getting ready to go out" song. This compilation seems pretty haphazard and culls tracks from the earliest days up until nearly now but every one is a winner and plays like somebody's Gladys mix tape. I have to admit to finding a couple of tracks here I am unfamiliar with especially her mega sexy (well what else with that voice)version of Look of Love. As a reminder of her great voice this is a bargain and you really can never have too many CDs with So Sad the Song on

I bought this album because my good good friend selfishly moved out with her copy of one of the Pips albums. I haven't even got around to listening to the 2nd album in this disc set because the 1st CD is so good!

Always loved "I Feel A Song In My Heart" and no matter how many times I play it it still makes me want to sing and bop along. Have a new found love for 60's, especially Motown and this was well worth the buy.
