I played these Remasters along with the original CD's I had and the difference between them is huge. I have to say, I first heard this album, and it was ok. I'd already heard Strange Days, and it was really good, so I was kinda let down. BUT, I played it again, it got better, and again, even better. now I cant get enough of this album. 9 truly excellent songs, with only 2 ok songs. I'm always singing to myself songs from this album, they are really memorable. and they wont get old. this album is brilliant, a great place to start for a new doors fan, if you get Absolutely Live, its full of songs from this album; Backdoor Man, The Alabama Song, Soul Kitchen & Break On Through. and they're all really good live, a good studio band, and a fantastic live act. 5 stars for a reason.

These releases from Bright Midnight are a sheer joy for any true Doors fan,and stops those inferior bootlegs.I was too young to see the band,but listening to this cd seems like I missed alot.
Contains some hits and some bluesy songs the band did live also contains Mystery Train,famous by Elvis.
Funny how alot of pictures of Morrison on cds and posters show him clean shaven,when at this stage(1969-71)he was fully bearded and big.
I hope they continue to release the better quality live recordings especially Bakersfield and San Diago I think from 1970.
I stronly recommend this cd release and the two Aquirus double cds.
