If you love the ragga jungle sound, but were not fortunate to pick some of the older stuff on vinyl this is for you. I have a few of the cuts from this compilation on vinyl, and have had the CD version for years. Oh the feeling of dropping such classic material on people skulls, no words can describe all the good available on this [2 x 12"] "DJ Friendly" compilation album. The whole package is superbly produced and contains all you need for a look back at MA's history. They are a truely creative and influential band and just so different from anything else that has been. The first disc has some old favourites, my personal ones being Unfinished Sympathy, Butterfly Caught, Teardrop and Protection. The 2nd disc was more hit and miss for me, but I have to make a special mention for I Against I, a collaboration with Mos Def, whom I like very much as an artist in his own right.
